Hello there. I just decided to try out this site, as I don't really know many places to chat about Pokemon. I've been a fan of Pokemon basically my whole life (I'm older than Pokemon by only 1 year), so I figured why not join here? My favourite Pokemon is Xatu actually.

It is great to meet new members who have been into Pokémon for almost their whole life! Xatu sure is a great Flight / Psychic bird!
Are Flight and Psychic your favourite types ?

Flying is probably one of my favourite types, but I would also say dark and fire (making my pick of Galarian Moltres make sense.)

Welcome! This is probably one of the best places I've encountered throughout my years of surfing the internet to talk about Pokemon. Xatu is such a cool Pokemon. What about it makes you like it so much?

I'm glad to hear that this is a nice site. So far it seems nice.

As for why Xatu, that was one of the first Pokemon I had on a team. I saw Xatu as the star of my team. Plus, I live in a area full of Aboriginal art, so it reminds me of my hometown.

Hello there.
There are quite a surprising amount of very good Flying Type Pokemon, (I just checked, mostly out of curiosity) it's a shame that most NPC trainers in pokemon
games don't act more serious, considering just how much versatility and power one could have with a Flying Type based team.
They usually just squawk on about their 'beloved bird pokemon' or something.

Xatu is a great choice in favorite Pokemon, not only for its nice design, but for its interesting PokeDex entries as well.
In what game did you first encounter Xatu? (my guess is Gen 2 or the Gen 2 remakes)
