    Hello Icehorse and welcome to PC!

    Going by your avatar, I assume Latias is your fave Pokemon? It's really cute but strong too, and one of my fave Legendaries. Glad to see you joined PC, because loads of Pokemon fans join so they can talk with fellow Pokefans, and given I've been part of the fanbase for 14 years now I don't plan on quitting Pokemon anytime soon. We have so many people here I'm sure you'll make new friends!

    Is there any particular parts of PC you are interested in? We have not only topics on Pokemon, but also art, clubs, forum games, roleplays, hacks/fangames and even plain old chit-chat. The forum is so diverse you'll definitely love the community. And nice to see you already read the rules, because they are important. But we also have very helpful staff members who you should approach if you have a question. There's even a few members outside of the staff who love to lend a hand too.

    We certainly don't bite at all! o/ In fact, I'm so innocent I probably don't even have teeth to bite with, hehe. Welcome to PC, Ice! Your current avatar is adorable and reminds me of my newest playthrough in Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Have you tried that game yet? Seems like it got a hefty bit of negative reviews since it's a bit different from old PMD games... but I never really played those. :( If you're interested, the Spinoff Games board would be wonderful for you. You can discuss that among other spinoffs there, though I'm just making an assumption. Apologies if I'm way off mark!

    But hey.. you've come to a great forum if you're looking for friends. We're here with open arms to meet you if you like so don't be shy! Hikari is one of the most friendly people around the community and we all try our best to be as approachable as possible. Glad to hear you've already read the rules so I'm sure you won't need a reminder on those sorts of things. I used to be the type that neglected rules but ever since coming to PC I've learned that it's good to read 'em since there's always that one thing you never expected to see.. in my case, that was the "no reviving threads that haven't had a post for 30 days" rule. Be sure to start posting as soon as you can! :) There's a whole lot to do here and all so forgetting about the forum would certainly be upsetting. I'm sure you'll get hooked on the community in no time as it tends to stick to you like glue after a while. I'm here to be your friend if you like so send a friend request my way and leave a message anytime! Perhaps we have more in common than meets the eye. Anyone who's a big Pokemon fan is automatically awesome~

    Welcome to PC! Introducing yourself is the first major step to making new friends! Do you have a favorite pokemon or type? My favorite pokemon is Charizard but my favorite type is Ice. Hope to see you around the forums!
     
    @Hikari10 - Thank you so much for the welcoming! And yes - I do love Latias, it's probably my favorite Legendary also! :) I'm also really excited that I joined, since it's fun to have discussions about Pokemon with other fans too.

    @Cirno - Haha, I thought so! And thanks so much! Yes, I have played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, and also the older ones. I thought graphically the game was great, but the plot was pretty weird, truthfully! Also thanks for the link! I'll check it out soon!

    @Kyros - Hi!! And it is? Also, my favorite Pokemon type has to be either ice type, dragon or Water. And well, my favorite Pokemon I think is.. Garchomp! But, it's hard to list them all. Haha!
