So I've been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue, but just today I decided to join the online community.
I'm currently finishing up the post-game of Pokemon X and plan to start Pokemon Y after Christmas. Yeah, I know. Kinda slow. Been busy. Anyway, I look forward to participating in the forums and meeting new people!

Welcome! I recently got here too but this is a great site for help and various other things. I welcome you with open arms as was I.

That's great to hear! :) People who plan to participate/get involved always have the best time. ♥ I see you've already posted around a bit, which makes me totally happy, hehe. Welcome, Glad! Have any nicknames you'd like us to call you?

But ehh I've been playing my Pokemon X really slowly ever since I beat the story. Took me six days to beat it but afterwards I started wishing I took it slower so I could experience it for a longer while. But luckily there's a fair bit to do post-game too.. and breeding is a lot easier. So I've been spending my time trying to breed cool Pokemon or hunt for shinies; my current goal is a shiny Zangoose, though goodness knows how long that'll take. I'm hoping to get Y around/after Christmas myself so we have that in common too, here's hoping we both get it! Wish it would go on sale already aaaa. What starter did you choose?

Enjoy your time here, yes? n_n Definitely contact a moderator, super mod, or admin if you need help. You're going to have a blast here I'm sure so stick around. I'm always around to chat with you if you're interested, too.

    [PokeCommunity.com] Hi there, everybody!

Diiid you order a healthy lunch box of welcome to PC!

    [PokeCommunity.com] Hi there, everybody!

Your lunches are always on me! In anycase, Red and Blue are common games to start out with for the majority of us, so, you're not alone on that regard! I'm really glad that you chose PC as your online community, because this is a nice and humble place indeed!

    [PokeCommunity.com] Hi there, everybody!

I haven't played much of pokemon Y myself, but, the games are pretty fun. Did you enjoy them? I hope you did! The post game however is kind of less than to be desired, however, I suspect that the speculated third game between the series will have a lot more content, so, that's something to look forward to! But yes, do feel free to meet as much people as you want, as you explore the boards to your hearts content, because there are many good people as well as topics here! Anytime you'd like to talk, I'll be here anytime! So yes, have a marvelous time, and I hope to see you again someday!

Well that's nice to hear you decided to join, welcome Gladdstone!

I haven't played X and Y yet, but I do plan on doing so in the near future so I can catch up with the rest of the community. The section for Pokemon X and Y, located here is a good place to discuss the new games and there's a place to share friend codes and the like. Is there anything you love about the games so far? Any fave Pokemon or characters from the game? I know I have a lot of faves.

But yeah, I do hope you stick around and contribute to the forum every now and then. Staff members in the bold blue, orange and red are there to assist you anytime, but I'm always happy to get to know new members every now and then. I'll see you around the forums okay?

Just like you, I've been playing Pokémon since the release of Red and Blue. Those games were truly awesome, weren't they? (: I got addicted as soon as I was introduced to them, and would play 'em every day whenever I had the chance. Which starter did you select? I chose Squirtle in my first run of Pokémon Blue. In my second run, I chose Bulbasaur. In Red, I went along with Charmander. Took me only four to six hours to have them reach their final evolutionary stage. What about you--how long did it take you to evolve them?

Don't worry, you're not lately! There are many people out there who haven't gotten these games yet, so, yeah. I've gotten Pokémon Y the day after it was released, but if I didn't have money, I probably would have waited until Christmas. Don't have X yet, but will download it pretty soon. Are you looking forward to the launch of Pokébank? I know I am. It sounds pretty cool to have your Pokémon saved into the cloud, doesn't it? That way, you would be able to access them from anywhere in any Pokémon game (well, at least the ones released after gen five). The service would charge you five dollars per year, but that's not a big deal, really. Plus, you get to have a free trial.

Anyway, welcome to PokéCommunity, Gladdstone! I'm Nymphadora, but if you like, you may call me Ashley. ^^ Hope you have an enjoyable stay here and stick around for as much as you can! This is a very fun place, and once you get to know others and make friends, you'll be having even more fun--trust me! If you ever need help on getting your way around the forum, then feel free to contact anyone that have bold username. See ya!
