    Greetings! I'm an old time pokémon player. I love 3rd gen games most of all, and recently (namely thanks to Twitch Plays Pokémon) I've been wanting a clean Emerald rom with all 386 pokémon. Unfortunately, every rom I found on the net (or even in these forums) has some other kind of modification. So I signed up to learn something about creating roms to do it myself! :)

    Good choice! We have tooons of tools for the creation of ROMs here. You'll fit in really perfectly and find lots to help you along! Welcome~ :)

    Oh, I keep up with twitch plays pokemon too but haven't seen most of Crystal. Not sure if it's out of laziness but I was busy for most of the time they played. Eager for Emerald though; it's so much more complex to navigate than Johto. Be sure to check out our twitch plays pokemon thread in Pokemon Gaming Central when you're not busy with your ROM hack, all right?

    You should definitely check out the Rom and Emulation forum, someone can probaly help you out there!
    Ive also attempted (but never finished) a hack or two on my own, so i can help you out with putting all the Pokemon into one game if you like?
    Make sure to check out the other forums and threads as well, there is a lot of stuff to see and talk about :P

    Like the other said, if you joined for ROM hacks you should definitely check out the Emulation & ROM Hacking board where you can find everything you need about ROM hacks, including resources for making hacks. Also, Sheep has probably told you about our popular Twitch Plays Pokemon thread so check that out when you need a break from hacking.

    There's loads of other places too so check those out when you can, and I'm sure you'll be able to make new friends! I do hope you have an awesome time here and make sure you read the rules or ask any staff members. See ya around and I hope we can run into each other sometime!

    Aw, a fellow Gen 3 fan! Really, really glad to hear that! Mmm, and the ROM hacks around here are pretty amazing, as I know that you'll no doubt want to check out the Emulation and ROM Hacking board, just as the others have said. :3

    Anyways, a pleasure to meet you, and welcome to the forums rubbergnome! I've watched twitch plays pokemon here and there! It's pretty amazing you know? How everyone cooperates in the game, and watching their progress on it is really outstanding! So yes, as said, why not check out the twitch plays pokemon thread?
