    Hi I'm Rainbow Cloud, just joined today so posting to say hello.

    I'm 24 and from England, my first pokemon game was Gold which I got back when I was 12 and I haven't stopped playing pokemon since, currently looking forward to X and Y. My favourite pokemon is Mew and my favourite game is Soul Silver.

    Kind of nervous posting for the first time, but hi everyone :)

    Aww, don't feel nervous! Sure it may seem intimidating in posting here, but I'm sure you'll get used to it very quickly! ^^ And like you, Gold was my first game, however I got it when I was 5 back in 2000. Anyways, feel free to look around PC all over and see where you might enjoy posting!

    Seems like you're looking forward to X and Y like many members here! Feel free to browse through our X and Y section here to get the latest news and discuss any speculation. We also have a section for you to discuss SoulSilver over here and it's called Fourth Generation Gaming. Finally, if your favorite Pokémon is Mew, then consider checking out the Pokémon Clubs section here and ask AlexOzzyCake, the mod of PoC and see if you can create a Mew club! :)

    As a reminder, please be sure to look over the rules and guidelines here.. the last thing we want to see from a new member is them not looking over the rules and getting an infraction :(

    Bahaha, we're all nervous when posting for the first time, I'm sure. Especially if we're new to forums as a whole. But it really isn't anything to worry about - PC is generally a very friendly community and you've already met some of our amazing members. :) Welcome!

    My first game was Blue way way back about fifteen years ago. Gold and Silver brought my addiction to its peak though, and it's great that you played through those. As good as HeartGold and SoulSilver were, the originals are always worth trying (at least I think so).

    Awww, your username and avatar are so cute! Do you like Pokemon Snap? I have so many good memories of that game.. my friend and I would always take funny pictures and then submit them to Professor Oak, hehe. Might I urge you to take a look at the Spinoff Games subforum? You can discuss the spinoff games there, including chatter about Pokemon Snap, so it'd be a nice little area to get involved in. It could use some more faces and I'm sure if you're a fan of Snap you'd have some cool things to say! Of course this is merely assumption though, but it sure would be lovely. We have plenty of Pokemon gaming discussion boards for all sorts of fans and they're all very active and fun, so you're going to settle in without a problem! Since X and Y are so big right now you should also explore our the X & Y board, as suggested, and give us your input on things. Do you keep up with the news as it's released? If so, you're going to have plenty to talk about over there! Our members are so very excited about the sixth generation and October seriously needs to come faster, ahhh.

    Hope your time here is enjoyable, Rainbow! You better stick around for a long while so that username doesn't go to waste, yeah? It's one of the best locations in the Pokemon games in general to me and definitely the most unique. On that note, I really want a Pokemon Snap sequel/remake on either the Wii U or 3DS.. but if it were the Wii U I'd have to go out and buy one! :(

    Yep I am a fan of Pokemon Snap, forgot to mention that before and that's what my username and avatar are based on. Would love to see a remake on the Wii U or 3DS too :)
