Hello everyone!
Just decided to join pokecommunity today, and so this is my first post.

As a bit of an introduction...I'm currently 17, and I've been playing pokemon since I was 9.
I've played almost every main series game (aside from some of the gen V games), and I'm currently playing X. I'm most interested in competitive battling.
My favourite pokemon are Gardevoir and Espeon :D

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you on the forum!

Hi imnotdean. Nice to see another Pokémon fan coming in here. Oh my, Gardevoir and Espeon are one of my favorites. Both are Psychic Pokémon, and they're basically awesome. Btw, did you check out our Battle Center section and PC Battle Server? I thought these will fit ya, you may learn some new moves and strategies there.

If you have questions, you can ask Mods like Synerjee and Cirno for assistance, and if you need to talk, you could VM me anytime, and I'll be glad if you befriend me and other awesome PC users that you'll meet in here! Let's get along, and I hope to see you active soon.

And yes, I have in fact checked out the Battle Center. I also play on Showdown, I didn't know you guys had a server!

Well, hooray for your first post! It's really nice to meet you, and welcome to the forums!

Ah, you've been playing for 8 years then? That's pretty cool! I've started when I was 5 years old myself, and I loved every bit of pokemon ever since watching the first season of the pokemon anime. Those were quite great times, huh? How are you enjoying X? I love the games, and I would always seek new chances to use new pokemon! Right now I'm doing a challenge run where I'm not supposed to evolve any pokemon, but, it's not so bad! <3

It's always nice to meet more people who are interested in competitive battling; I'm into competitive myself, for a couple of years now, but, it's still pretty fun! Why not head on over to the Battle Center board? People talk about all things that are pokemon-competitive related there! We also have a Pokemon Showdown server if you're into simulated pokemon battles; there are a lot of regulars there like myself, and we'll be really glad to see you there too! :)

I really love Espeon and Gardevoir; they're really nice Psychic type pokemon! I find myself using Gardevoir more often though; since I always evolve my Eevee into Glaceon or Vaporeon, but, I really love Espeon's dream world ability to bounce back any non-damaging moves! But in any case, have a amazing stay, and don't hesistate to contact any staff if you have any trouble, as we'll be thrilled to help you out! I hope to see you again sometime, and we in PC look forward to your activity. :3

I love Psychic-types myself, but not as much as Water-types! I was a fan since the age of 7, and now I'm 21 and I still love Pokemon. How are you enjoying your games btw? I still have yet to play X and Y but I am hoping to get them for Christmas so I can catch up with the rest of the community. Shawn has probably shown you around already if you are interested in battling, I happen to be a regular on the server myself.

Anyways, I do hope you enjoy your stay here and don't hesitate to ask staff members like Shawn above me (as well as the resident Welcome Lounge mods Sheep and Synerjee) and I do hope to get to talk to you sometime, but have fun here at PC and I'll see ya around!

Hey there and welcome to PC!
It's great to see new members. :)
Since you like competitive battling, the battle center is the place for that.
I also like Gardevoir, since it was one of the pokemon I used to beat the 3rd gen elite four the first time.
