I'm Zach, a college student with an undying love for Pokémon. I've been playing it since I was a little kid.

My username is the chinese translation of "big wolf dog," or a nod to Mightyena and my middle name being Wolfgang.

Heyo, heyo there Zach! You have the same name of one of our moderators here; he's a pretty cool person! Perhaps you'll be interested on meeting him! Ah, but personally, it's great to meet you, and welcome to the forums, pal! :3

Ohh, and that's quite an interesting username origin! Do I take it that you like Mightyenas? I think they're pretty cool - I think most wolf/dog pokemon are pretty cool to use in general, like Houndoom! Mmm, but, it's really great that you have an undying love of Pokémon too, and we'll be definitely glad to see you around the forums to share your interests with the rest of us! For example there's the Pokemon General board, just in case you would like to chat about pokemon in general! There are many more pokemon boards around here, so, feel free to check those out as well!

I've been playing Pokemon since I was a kid as well.. goodness, hard to believe it's been over 15 years now. I started with Red and Blue during the good 'ol 1998/99 days and got Yellow later on in a year or so. Never will forget the day a kid in fourth grade stole my shiny Mew card, though. :( That thing meant so much to me and I was crushed for a while.

Given how huge PokeCommunity is you'll likely find a lot to discuss here as we have sections for all sorts of fans, new or old - there's Pokemon X & Y for those who enjoy the sixth generation and, of course, boards for every generation prior to that as well as spinoff games and the like. You're more than welcome to join some Pokemon-related clubs or trivia at the Pokemon Clubs and Pokemon Trivia boards respectively so there's another suggestion to check out if you're interested.
