    Hello. I am obviously new here... Sooo a little about myself.

    My online handle for just about everything is Zackalby (used to be Zackal but it was always taken. this works because people call me this irl) started playing Pokemon in first Gen when I was 8 or 9 years old. Played up Ruby and Sapphire but never bought a ds so I stopped there. I finally picked up a 3ds and black 2 and got hooked all over again. Recently picked up platinum and soul silver although I have not played them yet. I am currently playing X version and have just defeated the elite four. I would love to get some more friend codes for friend safari.

    I've never gotten into competitive battling but I would love to start. I've been doing a lot of research on the subject but haven't put in any field time.

    I look forward to becoming a member of this community and hope I can make some friends in the process.

    Sorry for any grammatical errors. I work on an oil platform in Alaska and have to rely on a very shifty 3g connection on my cell phone. I work week on week off do half the month I can't play online :(

    I would give you a few tips on competitive battling, but competitive battling from me would be like asking a drill sergeant how to dance ballet.

    Methinks you'll enjoy the X/Y Friend Code Sharing Thread as it's the best place to share your friend code and make friends for your game. It's one of our most active threads and we'd really love to have you there so stop by whenever you're able to get online next. Oh, and the Battle Center would be perfect for discussing and learning about competitive battling - you have a whole lot of choices. :) Hope you find whatever you're looking for here and make plenty of friends, Zack!     Hey, well, come on at your own pace! PC isn't going anywhere for quite a long time. :3 If youlove to start competitive battling, we've got a nice Battle Center for that! We'll be more than happy to help you out there! You'll be able to ask for help on your team, as well as get friendly advice from the other competitive battlers. I hope that you'll enjoy the experience. ^^

    Glad to hear you're getting back into Pokemon, and are still enjoying it. Platinum, SoulSilver, and Black 2 are all great games. I would personally say that HeartGold/SoulSilver are the best in the franchise. Trust me, you'll get infinite enjoyment out of all the games you have :)
