4th Gen Hiya! Do you fetch Pokemon for Sinnoh Newspaper?

    The guy in a house near Pokemon Centre in Solecean Town. He asks for Pokemon for his newspaper report. Do you fetch Pokemon for Him? For Pokeball's sake?:D
     
    I do sometimes actually. I find it's fun to have a bit of a challenge (ecpecially if you're a more casual player) trying to catch the pokemon he asks for if you don't have them.
     
    Also, he gives you Dive Balls occasionally, which can't be bough (admittedly, they're useless; they just look cool).
     
    I do it from time to time just for the challenge. Sometimes I'll even time myself ._.

    But in Platinum, he'll give you Heart Scales now, so that's pretty nice. Something great to do everyday to accumulate a lot of heart scales.
     
    i occasionally do it to gain some heart scales so i can replace all my pokemon's hm moves with better moves for the elite 4
     
    I haven't done it in a good while now... Although, I want to. My current goal is 999 of every kind of Pokeball (I have 999 of everything except Nest, Net, Premier, Master and Dive balls. I know the Premier and Master balls are basically a lost cause, so they don't count. XD; ) The money is from rematching the hell out of the old people next to the Pokemon Mansion, and the purpose is because I've taken to catching every Pokemon in my shiny chaining, so that I can check their IVs later (Why let a good random Pokemon go to waste?) and I want to have the option of being able to catch them in whatever ball I feel like having them in. *Nods*

    Before you say it... Yeah, I know, it's completely pointless. XD But I do a lot of pointless things for the sole purpose of 'I feel like it.'

    I hate digging for Heart Scales, so that's my only reason. However, if they want a Honey Tree Pokemon, I'll pass; you have to wait a day on them, and when the contest ends in a day, what's the point?
     
    I've never though of doing his little task, he can go find stuff himself lol

    I dunno, sometimes I do it, but they ask for stupid things.
     
    I do in Platinum, but when he asked me for an Arceus the first time i entered Solaceon in Platinum, i was like wtf???go f*** urself, then left him for a few days while i completed the game
     
    i completely forgot that that guy existed. i might get back to him sometime, but who knows.
     
    I do, actually. It's fun <3

    However, only when it's not, like, too much of a challenge. I'm not getting him, like, a friggin Tyranitar or w/e.
     
    Yeah only when he's not asking for something REALLY big like a Lugia or something.

    I like it because he gives you Heart Scales.
     
    I don't. I think it's a waste of time.

    But, if he asks for like a Starly or Bidoof, or some other useless Pokemon that you could catch in a giff. Caus I'm lazy >:)
     
    I only did it once since the first time I talked to him and he asked for a Monferno which was the evolution where my starter was at the time.
