HM Slave

im sure ayrodactil can learn both of those moves right??im pretty sure though.

Umm... do we really need this thread? Knowing someone's HM slave isn't a strategy - it doesn't belong here.

btw mine's Machop

Strategies & Movesets
Post your team lineups, get your team rated or rate other teams, talk about lineups, talk about moves/movesets, strategies, etc. For general talk about the games, go to the respective Pokémon game forums.

This forum is for battling - not these kind of threads.

I have Staraptor to use Defog - I'm done with In-game anyways.

I used Bibarel and Pelipper... which I found easy.

Switch around some of your movesets. You should be able to easily stick all eight on two Pokemon if you get the right ones...

Whilst the discussion's up, I might as well point out:

Skarmory: Fly, Defog, Cut, Rock Smash
Bibarel: Surf, Waterfall, Strength, Rock Climb

All 8 HMs on just 2 slaves.

Imho, the ideal combo is:

Bibarel
Rock Climb
Rock Smash
Surf
Waterfall

Tropius
Cut
Fly
Strength
Defog

Though some of the other suggestions that have been given here are probably easier to put into practice. Zigzagoon, Claydol, and Pelipper are all worthy candidates as well. :3 Can't really think of why you'd need Rock Climb to EV train, though. o.O You can get both Speed and SAtk IVs by fishing outside of Sunnyshore City. (From Remoraid and Magikarp respectively) SDef can be gained from Tentacools, which abound in any given sea area, Bidoof gives HP, and Defense EVs come from just about any given Rock type. (And Sinnoh certainly has no lack of caves) You shouldn't need HMs to get the EVs you want.

Or you can get an two Arceus and teach them all the moves. That's of course the obvious one.

I need an HM slave that can learn both Defog and Rock Climb.
I already have my Bibarel with
-Surf
-Strength
-Rock Smash
-Cut

gyarados has Waterfall and dragonite has fly.

Will use anything that can be replaced.

I am currently EV training on golbats (Speed) inside victory road and there is fog where the Golbats are.

Well, if your only battling, You don't really need to see, any way, a Charizard should learn both (why not use your Chozza?)

Yes but in the surfing in victory rd only gives golbats, which give 2 speed EVs. This way i get double the EVs and can calculate them from looking at my PP.

Meh, with Pokérus and Macho Brace each karp is worth 4 already (you get even more if you have those fancy D/P EV training thingies). Beyond that is usually not worth the hassle of hunting down. Plus, victory road is infested with all kinds of undesirable EVs as well (Defense and Attack, from Medicham, Graveler and whatever) In EV training, a steady population of low-EV pokémon is usually preferable to a low-frequency population of higher-EV pokémon. =O Besides, the only HM you need to get to victory road is Fly; just make sure to fly to the lower part on the map (This would be the pokémon center at the entrance to victory road) rather than the league building.
