5th Gen HM06 Dive

I can see this turning into a RSE Remake speculation at one point.

I like the fact that they have returned it, I've always liked Dive.

In R/S, I agree with you, it did have a huge purpose. In B/W, it lacked a lot of purpose. I haven't even used Dive, ONCE. I don't get why they gave it to us, when it only has a use in one place. What a waste. :/

Yeah, me, too. It was like a different world when you're underwater. :)

I only used Dive in battle (I made my Staryu learned it.) and in the ruins in Undella Bay. Well, that's practically it that is why I am also disappointed. T_T We're in the same boat.

I loved the Abyssal Ruins, and the move itself, but I only used it to access the ruins. After that, poof - to the move deleter! D;

Of course, there were very few accessible waterways regardless.

I actually loved the use of Dive in B/W. I loved it in RSE as well, but what I loved about it here is the way you spiral down to the bottom of the ocean when you use it in the field. I thought that looked incredibly pretty!

In fear of echoing everyone else, I too was underwhelmed by the return of HM06. The animation when using it was pretty cool, but that it was squandered simply on the Undella Ruins was immensely disappointing. To be fair, there weren't many other places you could have used it, given that Unova was such an water-unfriendly region, but it would have been nice for the designer to do something more with it. Oh well... remake speculation abounds, I guess.
