I imagine the Digimon side being confused about pokemon not talking.

I think technically he did...at least in Platinum. He got what he'd always wanted, in a way. If he'd won in DP, the world would have been a much better place, though.

What if all the evil team leaders from every region were locked together in a room?
 
It'd probably look a bit like a mini Onix...maybe.

What if Game Freak made a partnership with Sony?
 
Pokèmon returns on consoles and probably PC! With Pokémon Snap 2 and Orre Region remake for the nostalgic feel in newer quality.

What if Galvanize were bestowed upon Electivire as a new ability?

What if you can make Pokémon join you the Ash Ketchum's style?
 
It will become a hard-hitting special attacker that at least not weak to Pursuit trap unlike Lati@s.
