HOLY-- Scary Amusement Park is scary.

On Friday, I had gone to 'Halloween Horror Nights' at Universal Studios with a few friends of mine. We all had a brilliant time, and (even though I acted as macho as possibly could the first two houses by not screaming) all had our share of scare. Here were I live, there is also Howl-O-Scream at another amusement park, which I hope to one day be able to check out, and compare the two (as I've heard both sides of the story of which is better). It was definitely better than what I was expecting, though it would have been nice if they had more around the park, than just at the ride areas. Guys with the chainsaws were pretty awesome though. ^-^

Do any of the amusement parks in your area have anything similar?
Have you gone to any of the Halloween events at an amusement park?
If so, were you scared? Were you impressed? What were your thoughts on it.

No and no I just like to get candy on Halloween:D

Do any of the amusement parks in your area have anything similar?
Yes. Carowinds, on the NC/SC border, has the aptly-named "Scarowinds" during weekends in October.

I went to it a couple years ago. A group on campus organized a charter bus to go on a Saturday.

It was okay. Not really all that scary, but it was suitably dark and creepy. And staff dressed like zombies popped out of nowhere all over the place, lol

Fright Fest XD

I was somewhat impressed, but not really XD

Kings Island has a pretty over the top Halloween theme going, I personally haven't gone, but friends of mine who have, say it was well worth it. :DD

If I recall, Six Flags has these sort of things every year. And that's, like, the only amusement park in my state.

And I might've gone once or twice, once for youth group. I loved what they had set up; it wasn't scary at all <3 Then again, you're talking to an amusement park (and, more specifically, roller coaster) junkie here.

I have one main one :D Have you gone to any of the Halloween events at an amusement park?
Yup, Fright Fest at Six Flags :D If so, were you scared? Were you impressed? What were your thoughts on it.
Eh, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be, it was okay :P

Do any of the amusement parks in your area have anything similar?
Yes. The only amusement parks in the area both have something like it (one's called ValleyScare and the other is something at Nickelodeon Universe, but I'm not sure what it's called). There are a ton of farms and other independent places that run their own such places, and their names include Scream Town and Trail of Terror, of the ones I know of.

Only once, and I was probably about 8. I was terrified of it. XD;
Haven't been to one since, though. I'm just not that interested in something that isn't going to scare me as much as their prices do. XD;

I don't go to those kind of things (Because I don't think I could handle it XD)
I also don't really know if they have one in my area.

Yes, there is a big amusement park near me that has a Halloween event, but I have never gone. I have heard from friends that it is very well done though, and I will probably go to see it in upcoming years

I've never been to a amusement park themed around Halloween (not really any in general idk), but if I did, I'd... not wanna go on any rides? XD; I did go on a scary horror ride thing at a Royal Show once, and... it scared me. XD;

I went to an amusement park just before Halloween and didn't want to go on the fast rides. But my mom and dad made me go anyway, and I enjoyed them, to say the least.
