Homepage Layout

It appears that Trade Corner and Pokemon General do not have forum images next to their names. Been that way for a while, actually.
 
The categories used to span 3-wide (I think?) and now they only span 2-wide, but there is a lot of blank space where the text is cut off anyway, so it seems wasted.

Was there a reason it was pushed to 2-wide but the space isn't being utilized? I notice it moves to single column when the screen is resized to a small enough width which makes perfect sense, but it would probably be nicer to also increase it further than 2 at an adequate break point as well.
