FireRed hack: [HotM April] POKéMON Turquoise [BETA 1 RELEASED]


Rather Nothing

I finished mapping Greenbush City, and I like it very much.
Also, I made the tileset for the second Gym. Very nice.

Thank you very much, Matej. I got the houses from Fangking Omega's Johto Tileset. You can get some tiles there, too :)

In the second screen I do see some errors with the path...
Although it may be fixed since they are outdated...

1: I had to rip some things.
and
2: i had to insert the edits in.

Is it okay if I send you what I have done on the titlescreen?
Only thing not done is the Text and Background.
The Text would be done before it is sent to you though...
Wait... [thinks about how many freaking updates have happened since I obtained the patch] Plz send me a new patch, if possible!
 
Urr...hate to break it to you, but those are extracted from Ruby, they're not custom at all:P Aside from that, I love the updates, the new houses blend in well.

EDIT: Oh, about the national dex, how are you going to change it? Replace every damn sprite? Haha.
 
Hmm.. Cool hack. I like the tiles and palettes so far. But I have some advice to give to you. IF what ipro is saying is right, and those tiles are ripped from Ruby, you did the wrong thing right there.
THIS is what you do. You rip tiles from Emerald. Why? Emerald had a MUCH more enhanced graphical system then Ruby.
 

Walkthrough of 1st Quest & Preview of 2nd Gym

The first Quest in this hack will be obligatory.
You need to have a Pika-Chew. But Ryan doesn't have the ingredients. So you must bring those to them.
1x Moomoo Milk
1x Sitrus Berry

May I ask you why? The tiles from Ruby are OK to me and if you don't like the tiles, then don't play the hack.

I think he meant the game restarts when you view your trainer card, not that he's gonna restart the game, lol.

1. I think that the idea of me being the Pikachew Shop owner is really cool! an the idea for the script too!

2. I like the Second Gym!

3. Thats good that the city is good to go and that ill get a new patch eventually

4. Sebbe's Pokedex Order Editor only edits the Kanto dex (I've downloaded it for Ruby Red)

5. Just get a new Rom and reinsert every thing! That's what i do! OR I can send you my patch and you can insert everything new!

Okay. The Sebbe's Pokédex order only works for the regular Dex, not the national dex. Those tiles are off limits to EVERYBODY. Aww that sucks, you gotta restart D;
 

You slightly mis-understood me...

It appears we have a slight problem. The hack isn't going to restart. It just has a bug when you open the Trainer Card.

Yeah I did but after a closer think-about I decided to put everything in the new FR ROM. It'll take more time but the hack will have less bugs.

And a new Poll:
Do you think this hack needs Fakemon/DP Pokemon?

I put it in the first page. It's very nice.
And it's Reign of Legends (means that all the Legendary Pokemon reign - don't ask me what that is).

Ugh, must I show you too? If you saw them, you abvoiusly know they're off-limits. I'll get the link anyway. Here. There has been a lot of scandal dealing with these tiles, and people using them even though they know damn well not to.
