    Forgive me if something like this already exists, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I think a page listing the hottest current threads would be extremely useful. I for one am interested in almost all of the sections and sub-forums on PC, and sometimes it's hard to keep up with all of that within the occasionally small time window I have to spend here.

    There are often certain discussions that I would have loved to be a part of, but just never became aware of. I think such a list would really help with that, along with other things.

    I'm not sure what type of parameters you would use, post count maybe, possibly reply frequency and views. Also, I think that such a page would serve best if it only included threads started within the current month and throughout the span of that month alone, thus opening the way for others threads to make an appearance.

    I am actually really loving this idea and would love to see it implemented. It would be great to see which threads have the hottest discussions that day to be sure that you don't miss out. This could even be broken down into forums as well which would list the hottest thread for each section and then ofc have the overall hottest threads from PC as a whole.
     
    I usually don't browse around all sections to find popular threads, but rather pick a forum I want to go to and look more closely for nice threads in it. Still, I think this:

    could be a neat thing. Maybe something next to the "New Posts" option in the above-index menu? I'm using the ol' Forever Standing skin though so I'm not sure where that menu lies on newer skins, haha.
     
    +1 I know a few sub forums have their {insert thread} of the week or {insert thread} is popular but a universal one would be great :D
     
    Also in agreement! We could really use this nice feature as it serves as "the top stories" or "the front page headline" of the day. I'm usually one of those peeps who miss out on some of the good topics (since I don't browse the New Posts section that much as before!) but something like that could work really well!
