    This is such a loaded question!

    If I'm not really in a good mood and I don't want to tell you about it, I have to lie or spend the next 20 minutes explaining why I'm not doing 'good'.

    Maybe it's just some sort of social anxiety? IDK, it's just something I find rally annoying.

    I've become straight up about that tbh like even with customers ahaha. 'how are you?' 'tired'/'terrible'/'meh'/'great'
    i share feelings freely and will absolutely explain them straight up. makes people remember i have them. makes customers remember im a person. idk
     
    I'm often averse to that question as well. I had originally thought that I was frustrated because I was expected to give a token answer to a complex question. Digging deeper in my psyche, it turned out that it's often just painful for me to interact and get close to people - even in such a small was as the 'how are you'.
