    Just like the title says, I always wanted to know how some people got their nickname
    I got mine because my Name Starts with A and my Second name starts with J
    How about you, How did you get your nickname?

    Well online people usually refer to me as Siggy, just looking at the first three letters in my username had this nick thought of. The whole fad of calling me that was started by crazy Cooks. XD;

    As for real life, my name's Christina. But I'm usually referred to as Chrissy. Only two people online call me that, though a lot more offline do so...like 10x more people. ^^; I guess they just thought it was a pretty nickname. Unlike my mother, who prefers to call me Christy.

    Well, my name is Samantha, but I go by Sammi on the Internet. I got the nickname Sammi from my... great-aunt, I think. Well, the spelling of it, I should say. I've been called Sammie or Sammy way before that, but I think she was the first person to do it just with an i. That was ages and ages ago. I've stuck with that spelling ever since, even if it makes your eyes bleed or if it makes you cry. ;D

    I've been called Nay before as well, but that's a shortening of my username. An old friend of mine started calling me that for short on MSN. Oddly enough, I use Nay as a shortening for Nayana in my writing. (Yes, my username is my character's name.)

    Outside the Internet, I'm called Sam a lot of the time. I think. It's strange, I hardly pay attention.

    There's a few other nicknames as well, but those are the only ones I can think of that I am (or was) called by often.
     
    My nickname is Mandy. =P
    I got that nickname because my friends think I'm loveable and because I don't want people to know my IRL name, plus it makes it easier for people to pronouces than my real name. n_n;
     
    I don't really have any nicknames online, but some of my friends at school call me "bobby".

    I guess you could say my nick-name Offline is "Jen". XDD People on the internet call me that too, though....
    But I got it because, well, when I went into high school I didn't like the name "Jenelle" as much. So I was like "EVERYBODY CAN CALL ME JEN NOW! 8D" Because everyone was like, "Hey JJ!" "Hey Jenelle!" "Hey Jennie!"
    ...
    My username-nickname is Mem. For those people who are just too lazy to type out my full username~ =P But, 99% of the time I go by Jen.
     
    I got mine from when I was working with Kids. They ended up calling me Ro~Ro and it sticked.

    So my offline nick name is Ro~Ro.
     
    "Erica" doesn't have much of a nickname potential, except maybe "Er" (pronounced air). I hate that, though, and no one bothers calling me that.

    Online, I guess my nickname is Lighty. It's just a bit faster to type than Lightning. I have a few people who call me that. And then I have one or two people who just call me L. Again, it's because it's shorter.

    Offline, my nickname is God. Seriously, even my parents call me that. :> I don't even remember how it came up, but I decided to create my own religion (Lightningism) centred around me (Lightning), so I was its god. xD Somehow, it just stuck, and mostly everyone I know calls me god every so often.

    My real name is Kylie. People who I am close to call me Ky. My other nickname is MF, which is the abbreviation for "mother fu ..." you know the rest.

    As for online, ... well, people still call me Kylie. Some who don't know me very well might call me Dark or Gunn. Depends.
     
    Online, people call me Shira-chan, which is simply the first five letters of my username with a '-chan' in the end. Erm, yeah... That's it, I guess. But some people just call me Macy.

    Offline, people call me Macy. I really like this nickname, since if you take the first two letters of the two names that make up my first name (confused yet?), it spells Macy. So my full first name is something like: Ma___ Cy___ =D
     
    I have alot of strange ones coming from the name Teresa:

    Resa
    Tessa
    Tisa
    Teres (I don't know how I would spell this one, but it's basically my name without the "A")

    That's just a couple of course...
     
    Well I don't really have an online nickname. If I'm talking to someone I know, then it's my real name, if not it's just Mr.Altosax (even though it would be easier to just say Alto).

    In real life the closest I have to a nickname is Blakums, because my real name is Blake. Then there's Winthrop because I played a character named Winthrop in a school musical, but no one calls me that anymore. One kid calls me Wayne sometimes though...

    In real life, my nicknames are just variations of my real name. Which is funny, as my real name is only four letters, and very easy to pronounce. I dunno. The people that I know in real life are odd like that. One of my friends calls me "Matsuki" because of a really bad Digimon fanfic I wrote a while ago.

    Online, I'm known as "Hanako-chan" or "Penguin-chan". The last one came because one of my friends showed me this video game that had a female penguin named Hanako. I noticed that and told him. The name stuck.
     
    Online I get names like ,I get names like Kanny,Kan-Kan,Kanchan,anything like that xD Simply variations of my usuername~

    Offline,I'm like Jessie,Jess,Roozy [don't ask xD;] and the newly given one "stalker" o_o;
    Variations of my real name,a strage variation of my last name and the stalker one..eh..self explanatory? x3;
