Talk how did you guys create such nice avatars/signatures etc on this forum?

I apologize if you guys do not want to share that, but i am interested in creating them myself for my forum profile! i just... don't know the means too and if you would like to help me out..? that would be greatly appreciated

it would make me more unique than just finding jpgs from around the internet.

Photoshop or photopea is usually your friend for photomanipulation and the like. You look for renders that you are allowed to use and you compile to something nice!

Alternatively, art and handy little css is also a thing I personally like doing to customize my forum profile

There used to be a cool thread here on PC where you could request flairs and signatures! I can't remember if it was a single user making the flairs or if it was a request thread where anyone was allowed to help, but ultimately I ended up making a request and getting a really pretty flair from there. From then on, I just touched it up whenever I wanted to change it a little.

I use adobe photoshop for editing avatars and banners! I'm glad you're interested in learning how to make them! I remember when I first started... so if you're willing, I can give you some advice and tips, tutorials, pm or dm ;)
i didnt get any notifications!

would love some tips or even a how to get started / pointed in the right direction :)

I think our most recent kind of nice CSS tutorial is the one over in Roleplay Theatre - it's more focused on CSS for posts but it's super applicable to signatures and the properties can also be used in flairs! ignore some broken things we're still recovering from forum software migration lol

& the Get-Together just ended ofc but I made an example template for flairs so you can kind of see how it's laid out!

i think having a sense of what you can do with css and images is very helpful when designing things for this application!
