Ok, you created a Thread, a place to ask questions or post a recourse/tool/creation to the rest of pokecommunity.

A Forum cannot be made by a new user, it has to be an admin. A Thread is the closest to a forum that you can create.

You yourself have worked out how to create a Post! As you have seen, a post is a Thread.

A Reply as the name suggests is a response to another Reply or a Question/Thread.
