I'd say it's cheats. :| Really, a lot of people will do anything to make a quick buck.

I've never actually seen this before. o_0

I do know it's possible to rip the ROM from the cartridge to your computer. Once you have the ROM on your computer, you can use certain editors to give yourself any pokemon, any items, etc. (I know this because I have played with my own ROMS). Once you're finished editing the ROM, it's easy to send it back to the cartridge.

The ads specify that they don't use cheats though, and I'm fairly certain ripping the ROM and editing it constitutes a cheat. XD

There are tools you can buy online from certain sites. I'm fairly certain posting a link to them is against PC's rules, but they're there.

You can't always believe what they say is right. Or if they didn't cheat, they probably are fourty year old people who are so addicted to the game that they haven't done their laundry for a week.

    and 20 years (I think pokemon's nearly 20.)

Yeah, they cheat.Ignore them.Your game will go glitchy, because it's been AR'd so much

Actually, I recently did it for Emerald, and my game did not get glitchy.

Two DS units, their game, your game. Their game gets exploited, they trade to you.

    Maybe.
