4th Gen How do you arrange your pc boxes?

I arranged my first twelve boxes by the National Dex. It was a pain to organize, but it's made my life so much easier.

Box 13 is basically fodder for the GTS and other trades.
Box 14 is set aside for all twenty-eight Unown.
Box 15 is for all of my Eggs and newly-hatched Baby Pokemon.
Box 16 holds Pokemon I deem "special," like Shinies or EV-trained Pokemon.
Box 17 holds all of my Legendaries, just for my convenience.
Box 18 holds my teams, both present and past.
 
Does any one else do it by egg groups, i think on my diamond i will be more about breeding and pokemon contests and continue to shiny hunt and do wifi trading and battles with pearl, and in pearl boxes organize by compatible teams
 
Well, when you breed til the point where you have all evolutionary stages of all pokemon, you are forced to disregard type boxes
 
This girl at my school does it vy ones that kinda look alike or remind her of eachother like pinsir and heracross.
 
My pokémon are in the pokédex order with one form of every pokémon only.
I have a separate box for unown, another box for multiples and eggs, one for reserved pokémon up for trade, and a few for the pokémon in my trade thread that haven't been wanted yet.
 
Im not in the mood to read through all the posts, so ill answer to the first one; Type storing is good until you aim to fill the dex; There are over 40 water types and less than 25 dragons. I do the simple numerical, with 2 boxes left for EVed and 'other' :)
 
Why do people use the pokedex number arrangement? It wastes alot of your time. It is an easy way to find a pokemon though.
 
I go by Shinies, Legendaries, Hatched (breeded pkmn), then Store 01, and Store 02, for any other Pokemon that doesn't apply. And then I keep making Store 03, 04, etc. when Stores 01 & 02 get full. I also have a box for Unown (and they're all sorted in alphabetical order!), and one for Pokemon I have either cloned or recieved in a trade.
 
All my pokemon are in order by number.
 
Competitive Box (EV'd)
In-Training (Breeds, In-Process of EV, etc.)
Random
Random 2
Legendaries
Events
Shinies
Hacked/Fan Events
 
By region, and one for the starters.
 
All boxes are made with type, then the ev'd pokemon in front of the box, shinys at the far left bottom corner of the box, it really has been a succesful organized look. Never really had problems :D

So it is very organized and easy to find everything (b'_')b
 
Actually, I used to have mine sorted in Houses, like in Harry Potter~ And I made up the most ridiculous names for them, too:

Moomerag, Shinblat, Kleerppe, and Voxsnarm. XD And I felt like the Sorting Hat just sticking my Pokemon into those four Houses. :3 I'm so lame!

I have now put them in... better... boxes. xD
 
type and the 1 extra box i have is for non hatch'd eggs....

Oh, I arrange them by their stage. Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. Legendaries have their own box, Baby and eggs shares the same box.
