How do you primarily engage with the Pokemon franchise?

Mostly from a creative perspective nowadays, like creating fan art and writing stories! I still enjoy the concept and a lot of designs of Pokémon, but I can't say I've found their games very fun in recent years. Previously, the biggest way I interacted with the franchise would have been the games - I tried watching the anime as an adult but it feels very obviously made for children and I can't really get into it anymore.

For me mostly the games although I've been rewatching the first season of the anime and watching some of the newer movies that I missed recently. A part of me wants to get into the TCG, but it seems like it would end up being such a money sink. I love looking at the card designs though!

I mainly play the games and spend time talking in the community, but every now and then I watch the anime for the nostalgia ✌('ω')

for me its either going to tournaments (i never win), playing pokemon games, and just doing anything related to pokemon
