How do you write the number four?

A fairly simple poll, but it's something that's been bothering me since I was a child. A lot of people I've been around has always written the number four one way while others (including me) write it another way.

So settle my mind on something. How do you write the number four?

I would wager that people brought up with cursive style do closed fours since it doesn't require the writer to lift their pen, and vice versa for people who use static letters.

I find I can write it in one stroke, without picking up my pen this way.

I write my fours the second way you did. I find it easier to do for some reason...

Yeah Siggy, you forgot the calculator kind of 4. I write it that way as well.

I'm not always consistent. I usually leave the loop open, but if I'm filling out something like the front page of an exam paper or a job application I normally close it to make sure there's no possible resemblance to anything else (it can sometimes look like a G if I don't close the loop).
