How do you write the number four?

I write it closed. I never understood the concept of where the 4 being open came from, but it seems to be what's written most commonly.

I alternate. I seem to have no set way on how I write a four... I just write whichever one. I'll try to stay consistent with one version if I'm going to be writing a lot of them, though.

anyways, I keep my 4's open because thats how I was taught to write them, but through out the years I've been switching but having the 4 open is easier to do

Apparently I drove many people into curiosity just because of how I somewhat curve my letters and numbers. This is the way I mainly and now always do it though.
