I don't know, Snorlax just does. Maybe Snorlax shrinks while being inside there

    simple.

how does a wailord get in a pokeball? it's mutch bigger

and the pokemon are turened into energcy.

Yes, they all turn into energcy.
But how does a Pikachu fit in a PokeBall? Or a Huntail? They all turn into energy some how and shrink into the ball.

A PokeBall uses an Infinite 3 Dimensional system that can hold anything. So yeah, they retain their size. Or maybe the Pokemon shrinks. I don't know.

The pokeballs use a space-time feature to shrink and teleport the pokemon inside the pokeball...simple technology right?

    You guys are problay right.

Yeah, PokeBalls convert matter into energy, and then back again. Pokemon turn into the red flash of light that you see; the light is the energy that the Pokemon turned into. When it's released it's converted back into matter. Advanced technology eh?

Pokemon do NOT turn into energy when recalled to a PokeBall, they are digitized, and that data is stored in the PokeBall shell, which is like a solid-state HDD.

    Explanation here.
