4th Gen How long did it take you to capture Ho-Oh/Lugia?

I hate using the Master Ball on stationary legends so it did take me quite some time. Though it was definitely worth it as I adore them both so incredibly much. I think to catch them I actually tried the status/false swipe method though I can't remember. It's been so long D:
 
Ho-Oh took forever to catch for me also. Lugia was pretty easy, with about 5-6 Ultra Balls. Ho-Oh took like... 50 ._.

I could have used my Masterball but I am picky with how I use my Masterballs haha.

Went very good to be honest. I remember that in Soul Silver I struggled more to capture Lugia, than I struggled to capture the LvL 70 Ho-oh in the Bell Tower. Probably needed like 2 resets because I lacked the money to buy a sufficient amount of Ultra balls. I was also very scared to attack those legendaries because I always thought I'd kill them so when they were in the early yellow range I stopped attacking, maybe not the smartest decision though.
