4th Gen how long does it take to get a pokemon shiny using soft reset?

Hm.. Maybe a more helpful answer.
Put simply, yes, it will probably take a long time. I can never remember the actual statistic, but it's something like 1/8192 or something. So, you could get it, but it might take a long time. I've heard people who SR'd about 90 times and got a Shiny Legendary. But I've also heard it took some at least 750 times. If you really want a Shiny Palkia, all you can do is keep trying. But it really is a lot of.. Effort.
