4th Gen How many of you use Walkthroughs?

Nope.Never.

Never used them, cept when I wanted to find stuff on Emerld (i.e. cloning, which I never got round to doing).

I'll just wander blindly through the games, guessing by where they went in the manga.

P.S Is the Guide Book worth the 20$? I need to know really soon cuz i gotta go to gamestop today, and if its not pumped full of Info i don't wanna waste my money.

Well to me it was, But it doesn't include information e4, So that kinda stinks, but it does include alot of information and such.
And I use the guide, even I wouldn't need to use it to get all 16 badges/beat red with ease, Its just I love reading guide books and such, Love to get all the information I can, its amazing what you can miss, especially on a pkm game. And I would rather be able to just plop open my book then have to go online and search for it.

nope walkthrough for me and i am at the dragon cave. but i did use my lvl 100 pokemon in diamond to get through the game quicker XD

I use Bulbapedia mostly for pokemon locations and also checking out the base stats to see if My EV'd trained pokemon have been trained properly by checking the stats against the ones on Bulbapedia. I use Serebii for IV's, breeding movesets, checking natures, and so forth, though I did pick up the Heart Gold/Soul Silver Guide book since I do sometimes skip things or do not get all the items in a certain area so it helps me go back and make sure I clear up everything I may have left behind.

they're really helpful, it makes me wonder how else i would know some of those things if i never read the guides
