[Other] How many regions can I include in a regular ROM (16Mb)?

I have some problems expanding a ROM 😐, Advance Map 1.92 doesn't work with my expanded FR ROM (Error 1) and AM 1.95 doesn't work at all :(
So, How many regions/maps can I include in 16Mb?

Firstly, you posted this in the wrong section. A question like this goes in the ROM Hacking Help Forum.

Secondly, gow exactly do you expand your ROM? Don't use HxD to expand. Try using XSE or PGE.

I use PGE, but AM 1.92 doesn't work with it. (Error 1). When I open the ROM, AM erases the map I choose.
I read AM 1.95 works with expanded ROM, but AM 1.95 doesn't work (I open, appears "Select Language", I select, and AM closes: a cycle)
So, i can't expand my ROM and my question is, How many regions/maps can I include in my ROM (16Mb)?

Use a v1.0 ROM. Use XSE to expand size. Done?
