Imagine waking up after a horrifying nightmare, and it occured in your bedroom. You look up above you, and you flash back to that nightmare, experiencing it again. Do you avoid that place for a while or just get over it? Or, imagine that you had an awkward dream about a friend of yours, who you speak to often, how would you face them? Oh, and when you have sad dreams, does that mean that your day is worse initially because of that, or do you just disregard what happened in the dream as something fake and shouldn't need to ruin your reality? The last scenerio is when you have a really good dream, set in a place such as your home, and you want to relive that moment, by spending as much time at that place as you can, hoping that you'll accidentally fall asleep and re-dream it?
1. Have you ever been affected by a dream in any of the ways mentioned?
2. Have you experienced something in reality that you now consider a dream or nightmare, because it's just so unbelievable - and it actually reoccurs in your dreams?
I've been affected by dreams many times. For example, I dream mostly of negative things, and when reminded of them, I just act weird, and try to change the subject, since a lot of my strange dreams I'd hate to become reality - so I just avoid them. And, a few things I consider dreams now, I mean, I consider graduating high school, and December (both last year), as dreams, because the details are so sketchy in my mind, and yes, they do reoccur in my dreams, as much as I wish they really wouldn't, but I guess certain events affect my dream patterns for a while, even if it may be 4 or 5 months later.
