How old do you think ash is?

I don't know how many times i've had to show evidence in threads like these.

In the Pikachu Short, 3rd Season, Ash built a party of the first anniversary when they met, which is obviously his Birthday Party as well since he started his journey on his Birthday. But was somehow edited by 4Kids/WB from the Japanese version.

You would think that every 3 seasons is a year but the ash would be 13 1/3. Indigo, Master's Quest, and Advanced were a bit extended, OI, JL, and AC didn't last long so if you think about it carefully, he is 12 3/4. So the years are Obvious:

Ash: 12
Misty:14/15
Brock:16-18
May: 11
Dawn: mid 10
Tracey: To tell the truth, Dunno,Duncair. but i approx 15/16

I think in the D/P saga, he's 14 yrs old. And he's not a kid anymore.;)
 
In reality now he's suppose to be like 19 or 20.
But on the show only about 4-5 years has passed.
So he's 14-15 years old.

I actually can't tell if you're supposed to be talking about the old one or the new one o.O Seeing as 2 of them made up the old one, you're insulting both...Well, at least you've said your thoughts on their age, eh?
 
It's an anime series for kids. I don't really think age is an important factor, and the directors simply don't age the characters physically. Ash should be around thirteen though.
 
Me thinks that Ash is about 15... he is defiantly older than ten, now anyway. So I think he is 15/16 now,

Makes you wonder why he is traveling with a 20 odd yr old man (Brock) and a ten year old girl (May/Dawn)

I reckon he is a pedophile, JUST KIDDING

I agree. They have to be at least 14-15 years old. It doesn't make sense that 10 year olds are able to go off on a pokemon journey all alone.
 
Perhaps the anime peopel are actually like the opposite of dogs, and age slower then humans.. he maybe around 35!?
 
My guess is Ash is 13-14ish, 15 at a stretch. Same goes for the girls.

Brock would be somewhere in the late teens/early twenties if you assume he was 15-16ish when he joined the party.
