How smart would you say you are?

Meh, I guess I'm fairly smart. I'm okay in English and Biology/Science, but when it comes to Maths and History, then I start to fail a bit.

As for my IQ, I have no idea.

I took an online IQ test once and it came out 144

I'm pretty sure its not accurate though.

In general, however, I feel that I am "above average" in terms of intelligence, I am one of the three people from my last year science class chosen for 8th grade Earth Science, I was one of the 4 people from my last year science class to be chosen for 8th grade Algebra Honors, I was recommended for the higher level foreign language class by my English teacher, and have maintained straight A's in social studies. In addition, I was recommended by my art and music teachers for Studio Art and Music Theory, though I chose Studio Art, which is, as well as Earth Science and Honors Algebra, high school (9th grade) level. Therefore, I consider myself above average intelligence, though truthfully, I fail at random knowledge (e.g. What color are Minnie Mouse's shoes?) And sports knowledge, and politics confuses me. Academically I perform well, artistically/musically I perform well, and anywhere else I fail.

Gawd, now I sound like I'm bragging. All of this I worked hard for, so success really does come before work only in the dictionary. And I really don't feel that smart most of the time, I get low grades occasionally and stuff, and I have issues with memorizing dates in history unless I repeat them over and over in my head a bajillion times. And I tend to think somewhat unrealistically at times, sort of like out of the box, but about a mile out of the box, and am prone to make stupid (and embarrassing) mistakes at times.

I would not say I am smart in general, but I am clever seeing as I can analyze certain things like poetry, writing, novels, works of Shakespeare, etc.

I do not have general knowledge even though I would like to. Perhaps if I did not have to focus on three AP classes this year, I could be a little "smarter" in my Calculus class if I had more time to actually study it.

I am also pretty good at common knowledge in history, particularly U.S. History. I barely have any knowledge of current history seeing as I am not in Civics yet, but I am in Economics now, and I seriously cannot understand the basics of it to save my life!

I could be really smart if I wasn't so lazy and knew how to study and pay attention. :/ Which is exactly why my mom rails on my grades so much, since I don't use use my full potential.

I scored a 140 on my last IQ test taken at my school, but I don't believe that's a real way of measuring intelligence, only how fast you can process information.

Other than that, I practically get straight A's and I have a very healthy vocabulary, so I i'm more than average.

I'm to humble to call myself a genius -.-'

Just like someone said before, it really depends.
There are a lot of sectors to be questioned about, and a lot of things to be taken into consideration.
It really ain't a modest thing to state yourself as smart, but meh...

I'm bad at general knowledge, but good at management of situation, and a lot of other things...

And, this might sound stupid, but can someone help me take an IQ test for free online? I don't really know where and how to take one...

I'd say that I'm quite a bit smarter than the average bear. While I don't know my IQ, I typically score very high on academic examinations, placement tests, and standardized testing. I am a very analytical person with much aptitude for language, music, mathematics, and many different forms of physical science. I also rely much on spatial reasoning and "on-the-fly" thinking.

Jeez, I sound as if I'm bragging. :P

That being said, I can also be very lazy at times, which is the most reasonable explanation for not being a straight-A student.

MODESTY ROCKS.

I'll be honest- Average. I suck at Trigonometry and Civics. I have an accurate measure of my specific abilities concerning English (Especially Grammar and Journalism, oh, not to mention creative writing.), Arts and Advance Biology. Not so much with Chemistry though...

MODESTY ROCKS.

IRL, many people are jealous of my brains for the IQ. Regardless of what others say, I rather be stupid.

My general knowledge is great, as long as it has nothing to do with humans-that-have-names. I can confidently say I can pass on information about the supernatural, pollution, earth, space, human body and more, but absolutely not history of for-what-reason-how-who-did-this-at-when-and-where.

I wouldn't say that I am smart, but more like average-above average area, though some people probably don't expect that I know what they're talking about from time to time when I do know what they're talking about

OK, I'm not good at quick thinking. Actually, I'm very bad at quick thinking. And my personality portrays me as a bumbling idiot. Even though that is not the case. Intelligence is relative to the people around you. For example, in my school community, there are very few people of my kind with whom I can hold a decent conversation with. But if I went to a different school with slightly smarter children, I wouldn't be considered a nerd.

EDIT: I just took an IQ test and apparently I have an IQ of 122. Bummer, I thought that was the average...

I don't have a clue. I do know a lot of things, but I do believe that I'm dimwitted to a point. I was always in the bottom half of report card rankings when I was in school, even though I did excel in one or two subjects.

Overall, I'm not very smart.

Um... I could definitely be an A student if I did my best and remembered homework. :/

Like a friend said to me once:

Why would I want an A when a B is so much cooler? Hell, I don't even need to work to get a C! But then what about Ds? Screw this, I'm getting straight Fs on all my report cards!

intelligence and stupidity fit into a LOT of different contexts. you can be an outstanding student, straight A* on the report card (like one person i actually know) however, in life terms, the kid is an ABSOLUTE ****. sometimes it's hard to know which ones more important: whether you should excel academically, or you should know how to handle your life. that takes intelliegence in itelf, see?

Well, I guess I'm a pretty smart person actually. xD
I have an average of around 91-94% (100% is the highest obviously), and I get most of the stuff in school xP
So yes, I'm smart.

It depends on the test's grading scale, but 100 is usually average.

It is?? Wow. Anyway, intelligence is not relative to how smart you are in different subjects. Any idiot can memorise a textbook. The IQ test has questions that require logic rather than questions that require pre-learned knowledge. That way, the IQ tests can give an accurate assessment of how smart you are overall. Sure you need basic knowledge of Maths and general knowledge, but only things you pick up along your life.
