4th Gen How to get a Poliwag

For those of you who just got the game, you may or may not want a Poliwag. Well here's how: Once you get the old rod on Route 33, go back to route 31 or route 30. Then start fishing. You should get a LV 10 Poliwag 5 out of every 100 times (5%),emphasis on should. Just keep fishing until you get a Poliwag. You get the old rod by talking to the man in the Pokemon Center (just talk to random characters until you get it).

Dude, you can get a lvl 30-40 Poliwag with the Super Rod.

I have a question. I haven't come across an old rod, super rod or good rod. Where is it located? Can anyone give me a clue? Thanks.

I think you get the Super Rod in Kanto, but I may be wrong. Its been a long time.

Old Rod - Route 32 (Fishing Guru) - Johto
Good Rod - Olivine City (Fishing Guru) - Johto
Super Rod - Route 12 (Fishing Guru) - Kanto
