[Other✓] How to get the better gba graphics?

So as new hacks are made and older ones are updated, the graphics look a lot different. What I mean is that instead of the firered leafgreen tilesets, like the grass and trees and whatnot, they look somewhat like ds styled graphics. Look at liquid crystal now, or red adventures, or practically any popular hack... I'm guessing they download a certain tileset and replace it with the original? I appreciate help as I have been DYING to make my tilesets similar to the other hacks...
