How to make quest log

    I really love quest in RPG's and I have a few that would be relatively easy to keep track of without a quest log but the next city is going to be a big city with a lot of quest and I feel like I'm gonna new a quest log but I have no idea how to make one...
    Any help?
     
    I made one for my project but it's script heavy, relies on multiple scenes and variables and requires a good amount of edits to the default PE so it isn't something you would consider doing if you just approached the RGSS. Perhaps you might want to do something simpler? It would help to know what exacty are you planning to implement and if you can show examples from other games.
     
    I've been wanting to do a journal thing for my game, where the player can write down arbitrary stuff in a diary for the day and they can go back to it when they load up the game and remember where they left off. Sort of like how Platinum does its journal thing when you load up an old game (and I even ripped that resource from the game for use in my game). But the Multi-Line text entry window is horribly broken in Essentials. I tried fixing it up a bit but didn't quite get it to work right. :/
