How well do you speak Japanese?

...Not very well. xD; I have three books that I use to study the language, but I haven't had enough time to really focus on them, so I still have a lot to learn. I plan to just go at it at my own pace, and do it for fun rather than force myself. At the moment, I do know a lot of basic stuff like greetings, numbers, and colors, as well as some random words that my Japanese pen-pal teaches me in her letters. (I studied like crazy before she came to visit me, especially the words that I needed to call my family members so she'd understand who they were, and I still remember a few things. :3) I'll get the hang of it eventually!
 
T-T I want to take a class so bad, but my school doesn't have it. >.< Although I've been watching RAWs since 7th grade (is in 11th now) so I can somewhat understand what's going on..
 
Studied Japanese throughout high school, now Ive forgotten everything, disappointing yes I know
 
Same as above. Though even if I did remember it, my teacher said that what we learned was the equivalent of Kindergarten level, so that wouldn't help much. XD I can remember Hiragana and some Katakana, but I just plain suck at Kanji.

My sister and I find it better to just learn slowly from anime and Japanese song lyrics and such. Though it seems she knows more common speak, while I know more random words...I'll get there, eventually. -.- (Stupid college doesn't offer Japanese courses.)

Enough to be able to play Gyakuten Saiban :D; still gotta learn a good portion of Kanji though..
 
well i can recognise a few words and read hiragana and half of hatakana, thats kinda all i got round to so far
 
いいですね。i think i just figured out how to use Japanese in VB!!
but can people w/o a Japanese language pack see it?
Do the squares of evil replace the characters?

If there's anyone that can't see the characters, let me know i might have to retool the input settings on the Language bar.

I know a few words in romaji. Not much, but a start.
 
I know lots of random words and phrases, prolly enough to survive.
