Question: How would i make an online game?

Hello i dream of making a online game, but what would i need to learn and programs would i need in order to make this happen. What team would i need (jobswise) and what languages would i need to learn.

Webmasters Discussion isn't right because that deals with websites and forums. It has nothing to do with making a game. They might know how to make a website, but might not know how to make a game.
Like Counterfeit said, Game Dev would be your best bet.
