  • I used to pronounce Raiku as "Rai-kooh" and still do sometimes.

I remember when I was little, my cousins and I used to fight over how to say Pichu XD
    "IT'S PEE-CHU DANGIT, NOT P-IH-CHU."
Yeah and now my older cousin denies it ever happening. I don't get how they got that weird pronunciation.

  • I used to call Suicune, Su-ken or something of that nature. Not gonna lie, I felt pretty dumb when I heard the right way of pronouncing it.

  • Ugh, Sableye! D:
I used to say something like, "Su-blee".
I actually just realized I was saying it wrong when I watched the special Pokémon Mystery Dungeon episode on TV. I felt so dumb D': Haha.

They should seriously change the spelling of some Pokémon names though..

I STILL pronounce it Poh-Kuh-Mon. I just think Poh-Kay-Mon sounds worse when it isn't in an american accent

Same here. At least "poh-kuh-mon" is better than "poh-kee-mon." I never realized how many pronunciations of "Pokemon" there were.

I just remembered back to when I got Sapphire when I was about 7 or 8. I always called "Cradily" as "craa-dih-lie." The "Cra" part sounding the the beginning of the word "crab."

I also used to pronounce "Chimecho" as just "chime-cho."

    Rattata

To this day I still end up calling it Rat-ta-ta-ta rather than Rat-ta-ta. I have to remind myself it used to be called Rattatak, which allows me to say it correctly. Weird I know...

  • When I was a little kid, I used to call Psyduck 'Payceeduck' or 'Sayduck'

On an unrelated note, I used to misspell Cyndaquil and Typhlosion all the time.
