    Hello all.
I've pretty much filled up my pokedex, and I was thinking about getting rid of my copy, but then I realized that was kinda a waste, because I've got a bunch of rares and legendaries that other people would love to have. And theres an anime/gaming convention coming up and I was thinking maybe I could sell some of my pokemon there.

My question is, do you think people would spend accutal cash on pokemon? How much do you think? For legendaries? Event pokemon like Mew and Celebi? Starters? What about rare items, like the master ball I never used? (This is diamond/peral/platinum, obviously)
I got all my pokemon honestly, for the record, mostly by trading (I can't vouch for their OT though)
What do you guys think about this? Thanks :)

(I'm not selling over the internet, so don't ask :P )

I would buy Pokemon IF it weren't so easy to hack Pokemon already. The wifi mode makes things even easier. I say, go for it. Just don't expect to sell any of them for over $5. You also might look like a fool selling them in real life. =P

Lol, don't use action replay. Because its not made by nintendo, the second you put it in, you void all your warrenties.

i wouldn't buy pokemon. if i bought pokemon, then i know i'd be obsessive with pokemon, which i am not.
but... you could probz sell the event pokes to other people.

    I wouldn't buy Pokemon.

    Why?
Because that's what Pokemon catching, training, and trading, heck, even Pokemon breeding are for.
I don't think that having the previous ones would still give room for Pokemon buying or selling, no?

Though you technically do buy Pokemon in-game in most games through game corner and its Pokemon prizes which are bought through coins earned. But meh.

Like someone said before maybe if it was a quarter.

I wouldn't buy any, because really a little pixelated picture ain't worth crap in real life. I would sell them though to anyone willing to buy!

Yeah, I don't think I would. D; Even if they're reallllly good, Pokemon is something I pick up every once in a few months, so it wouldn't hold much avail for me.

But I can imagine that there's plenty of people willing to buy shinies, if for a cheap price. e__e

There are successful auctions every day on eBay for D/P/Pt games with all 493 shiny pokémon (obviously hacked) that sell for $70. Any sucker will buy anything, if you proposition them hard enough.

    not really no
i would just use the gts
    Global trade station
    I once traded a lv100 magikarp for a lv100
shiny dialga but i think the dialga that i got from the gts is hacked
seriously though what are the odds of finding a shiny dialga! :/

I wouldn't but there are people on ebay that actually want large amounts of cash for whatever Pokemon

    :t354:TG

I'm sure there's plenty of people who would but I see no point. Pokemon is not that important.

Nah, I wouldn't. If I ever wanted an unobtainable Pokémon that badly, I'd just buy a cheating device. ;P

Wouldn't buy it for the same reason as others said. READ: It takes the fun out of it.

I would. Chances are for the next event, since they SO won't be doing it in Canada again, I'll probably mail my cartridge to a friend in the US so they can pick it up for me. Shipping costs money though so... yeah, I'd kind of be "paying" for it, though not necessarily buying it.

Anyway, for a small price I'd probably do it for Pokemon that aren't available through other legit means here. I don't have much of value to trade and don't clone my own Pokemon so trading for most events is out of the question. For the most part though, (ie for anything but the "unobtainables") I wouldn't think about it at all.
