...the GYM is not done yet. xD

Anyways, I saw this topic before and it was kind of an enjoying topic to talk about. Sadly, it has no posts and the other one before that was too old and is now closed. Anyways, here's the thing. For example you are a new GYM leader of a town.

    • What type would you specialize in?
    • What Pokemon would your team include?
    • What would be the layout of your GYM?
    • What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?
    • What would your badge look like?
If I were a GYM leader, I'd specialize in Ghost-types.
This is what my team would be:
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
. Cofagrigus being my signature Pokemon and Dusclops holding Eviolite. xP
My GYM would be full of "walkthrough walls". No, not like the one in that GYM in B/W as in real walls that you can go through. Of course, not all walls would be walkthrough-able only some important ones.
My prize would be TM Shadow Ball, obviously. And a Leftovers, if I can. xD
My badge would look like the circle on top of Cofagrigus' head.

If there was a thread like this, feel free to close it. I searched and found one but the last post was two months ago.

    The Troll Gym.

I specialise in Pokémon that may or may not be legally possible, all with the intention of annoying the hell out of you the best I can with precise combinations of movesets, type spreads and abilities. The only way to reach me is to traverse a very long hallway (no running) while a MIDI of Rebecca Black's hit single 'Friday' plays on repeat and the reward you gain is the HM Flash. My bage resembles the face of a very happy trickster whom we all know and love.

My Gym would probably specialize in Grass-types. The gym's puzzle would be using a series of vines, trees and large flowers to traverse the multiple floors to reach me in a giant tree house in the middle of the Gym.

    My team would consist of

. I would be an overachiever like I am IRL so I'd probably one of the tougher Gyms in my region. My badge would be shaped like Exeggutor's three heads as it would be my signature Pokemon. I'd give you the TM Giga Drain.

Anyone that knows me or my preferred method of Pokemon battling knows that I have a rather large affinity towards the poison-type. :D

My gym would be a maze through marshy terrain with my disciple Super Nerds, Ninja Boys, and Gamblers hiding around corners to ambush you once you've stepped on one of those tiles that sink you in deeper. XD

As for my team, you can expect to see:
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...
I admire your courage for coming to my GYM, however...

Victors against me will earn the Venombadge (adorned with a simple skull and crossbones pattern) and the appropriate TM for Cross Poison. :D

What type would you specialize in?
Water. It's not my favourite type, but the sheer number of typing combinations means it can be quite good to mess with potential trainers expecting to just Thunderbolt their way to victory.

What Pokemon would your team include?

Yeah, I'd probably end up being the last Gym leader with this line-up...

What would be the layout of your GYM?

Presumably water-related - duh! - maybe with a fishing theme or something to do with surfing along currents of water (like Route 17/18 in Unova).

What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?

Ideally, I'd be the coolest Gym Leader ever and give out HM03 (Surf), but if the Gym requires Surf to get to the leader, that idea becomes less and less tenable. Maybe a crappy new TM that damages while having a 30% chance of inducing sleep or something...

What would your badge look like?
A waterfall, probably. As original as it sounds, it'd be called the Waterfall Badge.

What type would you specialize in?
    Electric.
What Pokemon would your team include?
Jolteon, Lanturn, Eelektross, Rotom (Lawnmower Forme), Magnezone, and Electrivire. I would probably be the 8th Gym in the region.
What would be the layout of your Gym?
You would have to "walk" across electric currents, use teleport pads to enter certain places, untie wires (with the touch screen) to unlock new parts of the Gym, walk across cord bridges, and get hints from PCs spread across the Gym on how to proceed. It would have 2 or 3 floors.
What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?
I would give out the TM24 Thunderbolt.
What would your badge look like?
    A laptop (or palmtop) computer.

What type would you specialize in?
    Flying (8th Gym Leader)
What Pokemon would your team include?
Altaria, Swellow, Pelliper, Mandibuzz, Sigilyph, Staraptor.
What would be the layout of your GYM?
Something to do with taking mini Airplane models being propelled by turbines to each platform until reaching the leader.
What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?
It would be a TM (TM 77) called "Swift Sweep" where the user lifts it wings releasing a huge gust of wind forcing the opponent to switch out but also delivering damage, similar to Whirlwind except it causes damge.
What would your badge look like?
The similar shape of a Hawk, outlined with wings & a beak named "The Glide Badge"

      This is post E4 team.
as for for the Pre-E4 team, it will only consist Froslass, Glaceon, Sealeo, and Sneasel at around level 40s.
    • What would be the layout of your GYM?
No ice sliding this time. You need to get across by freezing the water and to do that, you have to push the button in the right order.
    • What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?
The most famous of all ice TMs, TM13 Ice Beam.
    • What would your badge look like?
      Well this I dunno.

What type would you specialize in?
I've always been a fan of fire types plus I can get kind of hot-headed sometimes, so I guess that would do.

What Pokemon would your team include?
:t256: Combusken, just because gym leaders often have prevos of the bigbad pokemon they send out last.

:t338: Solrock, even though it isn't a fire type because it fits (Didn't Volkner have an Octillery in his team or something? this isn't even nearly that weird).

:t126: Magmar, because I like its design more than Magmortar's, plus it's pretty unusual for a more early gym leader to have two fully evolved strong pokemons.

:t257: Blaziken, because it still happens to be one of my favourite pokemon. For extra annoyance, it could have its Dream World ability i.e. Speed Boost. :B
Would love to see someone with a slow-ish team try to take it down.

What would be the layout of your GYM?
It would probably be a half-burnt house with burn-able walls that you'd have to ignite by beating trainers or something. Plus fancy, intimidating fire pokemon statues (you gotta look cool, right?).

What would your prize be? A TM? Or another item?

I would probably be the nastiest gym leader and give out something lame like TM Sunny Day just for the heck of it. Why would I give them something nice after they've beaten me? :U

What would your badge look like?
A nasty lump of charcoal. There are enough fiery-flamey badges already (fun bonus: it could be called 'Lump Badge' instead of 'Charcoal Badge')

I'd probably specialize in Ice type.

Level 65 Glaceon (Signature Pokemon) (Ice Gem)
    Ice Beam
    Mirror Coat
    Hidden Power (Ground)
    Shadow Ball

    Level 59 Froslass (Leftovers)
    Attract
    Shadow Ball
    Confuse Ray
    Ice Beam

    Level 61 Weavile (Scope Lens)
    Night Slash
    Brick Break
    Ice Punch
    X-Scissor

    Level 63 Beartic (Muscle Band)

    Icicle Crash
    Superpower
    Stone Edge
    Aerial Ace

The layout would be your typical sliding puzzle on ice obviously. Prize would be Ice Beam. I have no idea about the badge. Maybe it would be a generic Icicle-looking badge.
