I cant see my banner! ;.;

I'm not quite sure this is it...

Go to your options and scroll down to 'Visible Post Elements.' There should be a checkbox for images, and see if it's marked.

hmmm.....i have the same problem...does your banner show up but takes a few seconds to completely show? or does it just not appear?

OK, Ill give you guys three things that might help:

Provider: Bellsouth
protection/firewall: McAfee

does that help? ^^'

It shows up loud and clear on Firefox. Internet Explorer displays it too.

But BellSouth....There you go, dial-up service.

Fun facts. Did you know that BellSouth is the US' largest provider of Broadband (BellSouth uses DSL) internet service?
And did you also know that I'm on BellSouth Dial-Up yet can still see the image in her sig?

It's likely McAfee, FireFox. Because some firewalls and some anti-virus programs blocks images. It's not IE, and it's not your ISP, it's your McAfee Firewall.

I kept confusing this person's username for the FireFox browser. < <

^^; Tell me you tried refreshing the page ~ 'cause that should've helped. Sometimes, images show up with broken'ness or something 'cause of that. You can try loading the image alone in a seperate window to see if it actually loads for you at all. If it does load there, then it should load everywhere else.

Your "show images" options are apparently set appropriately.

And like Andy said, check your McAfee's auto-blocking settings for IE. It'll probably block all images.

~I have a question related to this:
If McAfee blocks all images, then won't ALL of the forum's main images show up as nonexistant or something? Or does McAfee know to differ between the actual site's images and images that are in posts and signatures? o O;

I always knew that firewall would be a problem -.-*

Trying to change my name...

Refreshing dosnt work, the pic just dosnt show up...

oh well, I guess I just wont be able to see it then...thanks for trying to help everyone!

Just go to your McAfee program, check for what it "Auto-blocks" or whatever there is in the options. If you can't find anything, why don't you get a new browser? FireFox? Opera?

oO; I don't get what you mean by that .. but if those are blocked by your McAfee, they're probably virus'd. Don't touch them.
