Well, when you do Website of the week. You put up the site, some pictures.. a link.. Then a rating. But with that rating most of the time is good to give some critersism as well. Make sure its constructive.

Thats very true.. Serebii has alot of content.. but the layout lacks colour and look. PPN has a nice layout.. but lacks some content and has to many adds.. There is no perfect layout..

Its ok for what he has, but the colours are what draw some people to sites.. if its a basica layout most people will just turn away.

Yes, i know people get drawn to Serebii's site because of content.. after all thats why i use to go there. But i'm saying.. if you have some layout a 3 year old could make, but alot of content.. there will be lack of hits because of the layout.
With Serebii's its not to bad.. but it could be better.. Which i'm sure it will be with the new SPP 10.

Simply put, if you come to a site with a bright green and orange template, are you gonna stick around to see what kinda of content it has? A good layout will keep someone at the site, they see the layout before they see the content.

I think it's a combination of both layout and content, you have to have both to be popular. Hey Anthony, you got promoted? Congrats! XD
