    Okay, so this struck my mind when I was thinking of an excuse for not doing my homework.

    1. Do you do your homework/assignments regularly?
    2. What excuse do you give to your teacher if you haven't?
    3. Do you get away with it?

    1. I do my homework most of the time. But sometimes I'm just plain lazy.
    2. Most of the time " I didn't know how to do it", "I was sick"
    3. Err..no? sometimes ;D
     
    1) Yup. I only have about 2-10h of homework a week. Not a big deal.
    2) Sometimes I'll say I "wasn't in the mood"; she understands and lets me flake since I'm her best student.
    3) Yuh.

    Yes, of course.

    Honestly, it's never come up. Either I've actually done it, or the professor doesn't really care.

    Yeah, I do it usually to get it over with and get the credit.

    I didn't have time is usually the one I give, and it's not a lie.

    well sometimes they'll accept it the next day, but it's not like i'll get punished

    Hardly ever. I'm just not motivated enough and I would rather spend my time doing ANYTHING else.

    It doesn't come up. In high school if you don't hand in your assignments on time, too bad for you. It's not the teachers responsibility to hold your hand and chase you around for your work.

    Well I do usually end up doing my work, just never on time. So I will usually get a few late marks if my teacher even bothers to count the days late. Usually they don't and I get a normal mark, same as everyone who got it done on time. So yea, I suppose I do usually get away with it.

    I just leave it, then when the teacher asks me the next day (usually the next day) where is it, I'm like "Huh? I handed it in though!"

    Actually I do! You should try it!

    2. In highschool, yeah. But in college, my profs don't really care.
    3. Yeah, actually. I procrastinate until I have horrible marks, and then I work hard on the final projects/exams and seem to do pretty well. Not recommending you try this, though.
     
    I'm not in school right now so I will just talk about high school and my semi college experiences.

    1. That is a yes and no answer. I will more than likely do like 1/2 of all my work though.

    2. I would say stuff like I didn't understand xD. In college, however, your professors could really care less. You either do it or you don't.

    3. I have gotten away with it numerous times to my amazement. But then again my math teacher would ask everyone if they had there homework instead of getting up to check. That's pretty much a free 100 but sometimes I, as well as others, had to be honest at times.

    Yeah, I can't stand a grade lower than a 'B'.

    "I had to babysit six rambunctious five year olds."

    Unfortunately, I'm such an OMGEFFINGSTICKLER for homework that I need to get homework done or find some way to get it done during study hall or lunch period or something so that I can get the percentage of the grade homework is worth, and panic if I didn't write it down ^^;

    2. What excuse do you give to your teacher if you haven't?
    I don't give an excuse, many of my teachers don't seem to care though, and the majority of the punishment is me reprimanding myself xD

    Sometimes I actually do, occasionally a teacher will let it slide and allow me to bring it in the next day for partial credit. But no, otherwise I simply get a 0 in homework that day.
