I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

BACKGROUND INFO
Since the new UU is probably going to be announced in a few weeks time. I've started playing a little UU. The key differences between OU and UU is that it's needs more skill and has more Pokemon to choose from. As for the thread name I think Anti and D_A will get it.

TEAM

Lead
[PokeCommunity.com] I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

Froslass@ Focus Sash
Timid Nature
EV : 4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spe
Destiny Bond
Spikes
Taunt
Ice Beam

Fairly standard suicide Froslass. Taunt stops other leads setting up. With her amazing Speed and Focus Sashshe can get a layer of Spikes down almost every time. If Froslass is almost gone I use Destiny Bond and bring them down as well. Ice Beam is incase she needs to attack. On top of that she blocks Rapid Spin.

Special Sweeper

*image removed*
Raikou@ Leftovers
Modest Nature
EV : 68 HP / 116 SpA / 72 SpD / 252 Spe
Thunderbolt
Substitude
Calm Mind
Hidden Power(Ice)

One of the best UU sweepers and as pointed out by Vance(Or . ) stops SD Absol straight in its tracks which is a big threat to my team. Throw up a Sub and CM then use Thunderbolt/Hidden Power to pseudo-Boltbeam. I know the standard nature is Timid but I like Modest for th increased power.

Physical Sweeper

[PokeCommunity.com] I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

Staraptor@ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
EV : 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Close Combat
Brave Bird
Return
U-Turn

One of the deadliest sweepers in UU. With Choice Band almost everything in UU is 2HKO'ed. Steels or Rocks are 2HKO'ed by Close Combat. Rips through unprepared teams. U-Turn is incase he needs to pull out while still doing some hefty damage.

Special Sponge
[PokeCommunity.com] I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

Chansey@ Leftovers
Calm Nature
EV : 32 HP/252 Def/220 SpD
Thunder Wave
Softboiled
Seismic Toss
Aromatherapy

The UU Blissey and Chansey still has many options. She lacks Blissey's 75 SpAtk so she relies on Seismic Toss to damage other Pokemon. Throws Thunder waves and heals my team of status with Aromatherapy when needed.

Special Sweeper

[PokeCommunity.com] I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

Mesprit@ Choice Specs
Timid Nature
EV : 4 HP/252 SpAtk/252 Spe
Psychic
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power(Fighting)

I use Mesprit on my OU team and I'm using her on my UU team. Mesprit backed by Choice Specs is pretty deadly. Psychic covers Fighting types and is her most powerful move normally. Boltbeam is simple and Hidden Power fighting hits Steel-types and Ice types.

Tank

[PokeCommunity.com] I hate Anti's Team Luvdisc! (UU RMT)

Registeel@ Leftovers
Impish Nature
EV : 252 HP/64 Def/192 SpD
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Iron Head
Explosion

Slow and sturdy, Registeel takes hits very well. It can set up Stealth Rock and throw Thunder Waves around. Registeel blows up when he's nearly gone taking a healthy chunk off most Pokemon.
Please rate!

~Frossy <3...Froslass also gets Trick and Spite of you need those.
~HP Ice please.
~If your'e using Curse, why not go Careful? But it's great anyway.
~You lack a way to deal with Ghosts-what about Shadow Ball on Mesprit?

Raichu DOES have Hp Ice o.o.

Regardless, i would say Raikou does that set better, sure it doesnt get Nasy Plot but it hits harder and isnt as frail and is alot faster.

aka

Raikou@Life Orb
Timid Nature
4 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED
- Calm Mind / Charge Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Grass / Hidden Power Fighting
- Shadow Ball

or even just the standard sub mind cune would be cool.

Registeel set is kinda poop. Iron Head >>>>>>> EQ, so you dont get lol'd at by like everything.

Rain Dance teams shred you, needs something like Quagsire or Poliwrath imo, for Kabutops and what not.

Ill come back for a better rate later but im kinda rushed atm.

Nah I know Raikou is better but I like Raichu's movepool better. I changed Registeel around because that set sucked.

Rain Dance teams? Yeah they kinda do, maybe I'll swap something for Gastrodon.

Hm...

As for your team, I'd say that it's quite solid.
I personally dislike the idea of a Chansey special wall.
Damage calcs
Adamant CB Entei's Fire Fang 2HKO's doing roughly 53-63% each hit. But who the hell uses Entei :/
MixScarf Blaziken is performing a clean knock-out with Super Power, after one use it would 2HKO leaving little HP to spare. However, it is worth noting that the same Blaziken's Overheat will do roughly 35~41% with an Overheat, which will never even 4HKO because of the SpAtk drop.
Life Orb SD Toxicroaks Cross Chop will OHKO without a single SD. You should note that Toxicroak will most likely SD before this, so it's a good opportunity to switch into something that resist it. Remember that it also carries Sucker Punch and some variants carry X-Scizor. Couple that with a Jolly Nature and max speed EV's and you've got something thats ready for your Mesprit, assuming that Frosslass is dead at this time (which it carries sucker punch for[which you could PP stall it for]).
Altaria does 93~109% with Outrage after a single DD with Life Orb, which is always an OHKO with Stealth rock.

Yeah. Just some points.

Chansey is a special wall so i usually don't bring her in against those Pokemon. Toxicroak isn't a probelm really. Staraptor can lower his Atk with Intimidate and eats him alive with Brave Bird but still I'll watch out for Toxicroak.

think you should consider hp fire or ground. i just kinda like hp fire, while hp ground is actually really helpful against raikou/manetric/4X weaknesses. i had a pikachu set with hp ground that did so much better than the regular hp ice.

Major SD Absol weakness. You have absolutely no check to it, as a +1 LO Sucker Punch OHKOs Staraptor, and just decimates the rest of your team with Sucker Punch + Night Slash + Superpower. Froslass is not a counter, since Absol will Sucker Punch the turn you D-Bond around 90% of the time, and then can just SD while you D-Bond or predict an Ice Beam and Sucker Punch.

SubCMKou can stop it, subbing on the Sucker Punch and beating it with Thunderbolt and even CMs. Use it over Raichu.

Yes I admit that's true Vance. Raikou, it is. I'm replacing Raichu for Raikou.

Most Fighters give you a hard time, so I suggest bulking up Mesprit.

Another major threat is DD Feraligatr. After a DD, it outspeeds your entire team, and can OHKO/2HKO your entire team. Your best option is to bring in Registeel on the DD and try to paralize it, but keep in mind that:
508 Atk vs 352 Def (100 BP) = 74.17% - 87.36% (approx.)
So you have to be on almost full health. For this reason, it would be beneficial for you to run a bulky water, which can also account for the Blaziken problem to a degree. Slowbro would be really handy as it takes on Feraligatr, Blaziken and is a decent fighting resist, although you still need to keep and eye on Toxicroak.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Slack Off
- Surf
- Ice Beam/HP [Electric]
- Toxic/Thunder Wave/HP [Electric]

Typical bulky water. The old 44 SAtk EVs don't really acheive much in UU, so I went for more Def, although you can drop some in SDef if you want.

That was before your time.
