I hate having to go through this...

By "this" I mean anime convention withdrawal, naturally. It's been January since I've been to a con, and because of the timing and finances of my moving across multiple state lines, I had to miss the April one I usually try to go to. And since summer is typically a dead period for cons in my neck of the woods, it won't be till October till there's another one in the area.

Well, I've survived seven months without going completely crazy. Hopefully these last two months won't break the camel's back and I'll be able to make my triumphant return to the world of cosplay and mahou shoujo panel discussions.

It's a hard life :(

There's such a thing as anime convention withdrawal?
Naturally :P Symptoms include urges to cosplay when you go grocery shopping or to the local Wendy's or Target, and spending copious amounts of time on Deviantart (virtual Artist's Alley) and sites like HobbyLink Japan (virtual Dealer's Room).

At least you have time to perfect your cosplays.
Actually, it'll also give me time to decide who to cosplay as. And also time to order me a new cosplay wig (my current one is looking pretty tangled and trying all the online tutorials to untangle it only made things worse).

With that said, I'm kinda hoping there's a "ballerina" trainer class in X/Y so I can parade around the con in a ballerina costume and my Meowth plushie without it being confused for a Princess Tutu cosplay.

Another option is just pinning a small red "R" to my suit jacket and going as Giovanni. Again with said Meowth plushie.

speaking of random cosplaying, I once saw someone cosplay as Itachi at a car repair place.
