This is my first log post. Hopefully you don't mind if the form is improper or whatnot.

I don't usually like to post my matches, but this one was so good that I had little choice.

    vs. xxterradarkxx.

OK, let's get this thing started. Hopefully this guy isn't weak like the last couple matches I had.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx sent out Scizor.
DonRoyale sent out UH OH WHAT NOW (lvl 100 Heatran).
    xxterradarkxx switched in Heatran.
    Heatran used Fire Blast.
Heatran's Flash Fire raised its fire power!
    ---

Aw, crap. He had Heatran. I should've predicted this, but I had an itchy trigger finger, so he got a free switch.

    ----
    DonRoyale switched in Blissey.
    Heatran used Earth Power.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.

    ---

HA! But I come back with the big fat blob of awesomeness. GO BLISSEY!

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Swampert.
    Blissey used Stealth Rock.
    ---

There we go. Now I get to set-up on him. But of all things, Swampert? Odd choice to use as an SR setup poke. But then again, it is a good switch-in to Twave. Since my Blissey is Softboiled/SR/Twave/Flamethrower, it fails against this Swampert. So...

    ----
DonRoyale switched in null (lvl 100 Skymin).
    Swampert used Stealth Rock.
    ---

I saw that coming. Now he's going to be scared enough to switch.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Heatran.
    Pointed stones dug into Heatran.
Heatran lost 12% of its health.
    Skymin used Seed Flare.
Heatran lost 21% of its health.
Heatran's special defence was harshly lowered.
Skymin lost 10% of its health.
    ---

Hmm. After hitting Heatran, I was contemplating staying in to kill it off. But I shouldn't have contemplated and switched to Blissey.

    ----
    Heatran used Hidden Power.
Skymin lost 90% of its health.
    DonRoyale's Skymin fainted.
    ---

Of course, I had a burst of stupidness that was utterly...stupid. Blissey would have taken that HP Ice easily...:S
The first death, and I didn't get it. :S

    6-5, TD.

    ----
DonRoyale switched in WOW I FAIL (lvl 100 Scizor).
    Pointed stones dug into Scizor.
Scizor lost 12% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx switched in Swampert.
    Pointed stones dug into Swampert.
Swampert lost 6% of its health.
    Scizor used Superpower.
Swampert lost 47% of its health.
    Scizor
    's attack was lowered.
    Scizor's defence was lowered.
    ---

Like my Scizor's nickname? Anyway, I was hoping to kill Heatran with Superpower, but no, he switches into Stupert. I did respectable damage with it, so I decide to stay in because I knew Swampert had nothing to really combat Scizor with before it died.

    ----
    Scizor used Superpower.
Swampert lost 31% of its health.
    Scizor's attack was lowered.
    Scizor's defence was lowered.
    Swampert used Roar.
    DonRoyale switched in Gyarados.
    Gyarados's intimidate cut Swampert's attack!
    Pointed stones dug into Gyarados.
Gyarados lost 25% of its health.
    ---

Roar? OK, get rid of the double drop from Superpower...Gyarados was a bit of a fluke for him, as 25% HP isn't nice. At the same time, Swampert was at 28% of its health. An easy kill.

    ----
    Gyarados used Waterfall.
Swampert lost 28% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx's Swampert fainted.
Gyarados lost 10% of its health.
    ---

    Easy kill was easy.

    5-5, tie.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Skymin.
    Pointed stones dug into Skymin.
Shaymin-s lost 25% of its health.
    Shaymin-s used Seed Flare.
Gyarados lost 65% of its health.
    DonRoyale's Gyarados fainted.
    ---

Another kill that could have been easily avoided. Of course, I was being stupid and thought Ice Fang would have killed it.

    5-4, TD.

    ----
    DonRoyale switched in Blissey.
    Pointed stones dug into Blissey.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx switched in Azumarill.
    Pointed stones dug into Azumarill.
Azumarill lost 12% of its health.
    Blissey used Thunder Wave.
Azumarill is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
    ---

Azumarill strikes me as a very strange choice. At the same time, Twaving it doesn't make it any less bittersweet. Though a paralyzed Skymin would've died, no questions asked.

    ----
    DonRoyale switched in Kingdra.
    Pointed stones dug into Kingdra.
Kingdra lost 12% of its health.
    Azumarill used Brick Break.
Kingdra lost 39% of its health.
Azumarill's leftovers restored its health a little!
Azumarill restored 6% of its health.
    ---

Ouch. Should've seen that coming. That hurt.

    ----
    Kingdra used Outrage.
    Kingdra went on a rampage!
Azumarill lost 78% of its health.
Kingdra lost 10% of its health.
Azumarill is paralysed! It can't move!
Azumarill's leftovers restored its health a little!
Azumarill restored 6% of its health.
    ---

Didn't kill it, but did enough.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Heatran.
    Pointed stones dug into Heatran.
Heatran lost 12% of its health.
    Kingdra used Outrage.
    It's not very effective...
Heatran lost 38% of its health.
Kingdra lost 10% of its health.
    Kingdra's rampage ended.
    Kingdra became confused!
    ---

Smart. At the same time, took quite the chip off of Heatran's health, even through its resist.

    ----
    DonRoyale switched in Blissey.
    Pointed stones dug into Blissey.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    Heatran used Earth Power.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    ---

After failing at doing this twice, I smartened up and switched into Blissey to wall his special sweepers. It did the trick.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Blissey.
    Pointed stones dug into Blissey.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    Blissey used Thunder Wave.
Blissey is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
    ---

He has Blissey, too. Paralysis is easily shaken off, seeing as Blissey doesn't need to outrun anything. Hmm.

    ----
DonRoyale switched in WOW I FAIL (lvl 100 Scizor).
    Pointed stones dug into Scizor.
Scizor lost 12% of its health.
    Blissey used Toxic.
    It doesn't affect Scizor...
    ---

I was predicting either Thunder Wave or Toxic. Toxic was the more plausible, and seeing as I had two living Pokemon who resisted it, it made the prediction and the switch easier. Even if I'd been Thunder Waved, Bullet Punch could've done the trick.

    ----
    Scizor used Superpower.
    It's super effective!
Blissey lost 100% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx's Blissey fainted.
    Scizor's attack was lowered.
    Scizor's defence was lowered.
    ---

    WOW I DON'T FAIL.

    4-4, tie.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Skymin.
    Pointed stones dug into Skymin.
Skymin lost 25% of its health.
    DonRoyale switched in Blissey.
    Pointed stones dug into Blissey.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    Skymin used Earth Power.
Blissey lost 12% of its health.
    ---

Again, seeing the imminent demise of Scizor, I got him the heck outta there. Easy prediction was easy.

    ----
    Skymin used Seed Flare.
Blissey lost 20% of its health.
Blissey's special defence was harshly lowered.
    Blissey used Thunder Wave.
Skymin is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
    ---

There we go. It's screwed now. With it paralyzed, I thought Flamethrower would have killed it off, but...

    ----
    Blissey used Flamethrower.
    It's super effective!
Skymin lost 48% of its health.
Skymin is paralysed! It can't move!
    ---

It lives at 2% of its health. Parahax FTW.

    ----
    Blissey used Flamethrower.
    It's super effective!
Skymin lost 3% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx's Skymin fainted.
    ---

    Blissey > Skymin.

    4-3, me.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Azumarill.
    Pointed stones dug into Azumarill.
Azumarill lost 12% of its health.
    Blissey used Flamethrower.
    It's not very effective...
Azumarill lost 11% of its health.
    Azumarill used Brick Break.
    It's super effective!
Blissey lost 62% of its health.
    DonRoyale's Blissey fainted.
    ---

At this point, it was Blissey, Kingdra, Scizor, and Heatran. Brick Break would probably have killed everything, so given the choice, yeah, Blissey dies.

    3-3, tie.

    ----
DonRoyale switched in WOW I FAIL (lvl 100 Scizor).

    xxterradarkxx's Azumarill fainted.

    REVENGE KILL. BP FTW.

    3-2, me.

    Pointed stones dug into Kingdra.
Kingdra lost 12% of its health.
    Scizor used Substitute.
Scizor lost 25% of its health.
    Scizor made a substitute!
    ---

Until now, I haven't really seen what his Scizor can do. Subbing took me by suprise, I'll admit. I was expecting a Banded Bullet Punch, so I switched to Kingdra, even though it should have been Heatran. At the same time, his was still alive, so...

    ----
    Kingdra used Waterfall.
The substitute took damage for Scizor!
    Scizor's substitute faded!
    Scizor used Swords Dance.
    Scizor's attack was sharply raised.
    ---

Hmm, I knew he was setting up hiding behind his sub, so I just attacked for the lulz.

    ----
    Scizor used Bullet Punch.
    It's not very effective...
Kingdra lost 16% of its health.
    DonRoyale's Kingdra fainted.
    ---

Kingdra was about to die, so, whatever.

    2-2, tie.

DonRoyale switched in UH OH WHAT NOW (lvl 100 Heatran).
    Pointed stones dug into Heatran.
Heatran lost 12% of its health.
    Heatran used Fire Blast.
    It's super effective!
Scizor lost 81% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx's Scizor fainted.
    ---

    UH OH, WHAT NOW.
    lulz death is lulz.
He must have predicted Earth Power because I thought he'd switch. Oh well.

    2-1, me.

    ----
    xxterradarkxx switched in Heatran.

    Heatran used Earth Power.
    It's super effective!
Heatran lost 87% of its health.
    DonRoyale's Heatran fainted.
    ---

I was Choice-locked into Fire Blast, and there is no way in hell I'm switching to Scizor when it can easily die to Fire Blast, then our tied-speed Heatran would've probably given him a hax victory. So, sorry, Heatran, you die now.

    1-1, tie.

    ----
DonRoyale switched in WOW I FAIL (lvl 100 Scizor ?).
    Pointed stones dug into Scizor.
Scizor lost 12% of its health.
    Scizor used Bullet Punch.
    It's not very effective...
Heatran lost 4% of its health.
    xxterradarkxx's Heatran fainted.
    DonRoyale wins!
    ---

That's right, his Heatran had 4% health. XD

Well, that was awfully fun. One of the closest and best matched I've ever had.

    Go comment now, kthnx.

I absolutely loved the battle =D I laughed at how each team had 3 of the same Pokemon, just shows you how generic the metagame turned =/

I know a lot of people are going to beticked off, I mean complaining about how you didn't edit out the nicknames, but I honestly didn't notice since the comments told reminded me who the nick-named Pokes were. Excellent job.

    Thanks.

It's actually 4, lulz: Scizor, Heatran, Blissey and Skymin. Then we have two waters each, but mine are ridiculously superior.

    EDIT: BEACH BOYYYYY.
I see what you did there...:o

    I approved this because you can use it as a tool to learn, instead of completely rejecting it. This doesn't ZOMGMEETS the standards, but it's close enough for tips. By the way, edited in the correct Scizor image because that white bothered me. XD;

First off, edit out nicknames and put in the correct species name, nicknames just confuse us. And once that's done you can remove "
(lvl 100 Azumarill ?)." as that removes the need for it. But I agree you worked with it enough so it wasn't too bad.

Percent lines like "so-so did 6% percent" after the information line is pointless, we know what damage it does. Read my tips stickie, that would really help you. More commentary could've worked, that makes the story. Let your commentary do the talkin' not the log.Remember, putting effort into your battle log makes it enjoyable for everyone. ;D

Regardless of lacking format, I enjoyed it. You played too conservatively in the early going, Heatran is the number one Pocket Monster in usage, so you have to account for that. And you were overall predictable in the early going, ScarfTran predicts and then eating Skymin. Not sure why he would roar a -2 attack -2 defense Scizor, but eh. That was nice for you.

I think you Outraged with Kingdra a bit too early, setting up might of been the better alternative.

You got in a better groove later on though, good. The ending was enjoyable. Fun battle, format was disappointing, but hopefully you can improve next time. :D

EDIT; And yeah, I know I sound like bog ol' THIS THAT THIS THAT. But I'm picky. >:O

Well, I've been in the competitive battling scene for all of two months, and that's just elapsed time. I haven't been on Shoddy in almost a month before today. So I am a bit sloppy in how I play this game. :S

Thank you for approving it. Next time, I'll include color, get the nicknames out, and edit out residual damage and such.

    Thanks for the tips. :)

For two months you did a great job, and my apologies if I sound a bit rough. XD You'll learn as you play. Timid Scarf Tran are the most common things out there, and will eat Skymin pretty much every time. So keep your Gyarados around. Also, take notice at other well formatted battle logs, you could also learn from those, as well.

And like I said, I enjoyed it. For a first log you did a great job. :)

Thanks. I try to look like I put a bit of effort into it.

Next time, I'll do better. I learn quickly if I do say so myself. :)

    Edited stuffs out. :)
