I joined PC for Shiny Gold.

I was searching on Google about something Pokemon related and a few edited or custom sprites showed up in images, linking me to this place. I thought they were cool, so I ventured forth and explored the forums - I specifically remember one person in the thread with the sprites had an avatar with Brock holding open his eyes. Weird. But I signed up a short while later and the quality of the forum has only plummeted from there.

That was back in 2005 shortly after my tenth birthday, so ... wow, come September I'll have participated on and off in the PokeCommunity for about a decade.​
 
ROM Hacks, of course. 5 or so years later and 3-4 different accounts, still keep coming back. Don't play ROM Hacks anymore.
