I was discussing this with a friend. She said there's no real love, because we can all eventually get bored of our partner or something. I think it's kind of true. Do you really think phrases like "I can't live without you" or "I die if I don't see you" are true? Especially nowadays, love seems to be more unreal each time. What do you think? There's still real love out there or did it become extinct a while ago? Discuss.

I still believe that there is 'true love'
though modern society has tried so hard to replace it. being a 'player' is popular and glorified. the message spoken to us on our televisions and radios tells us to dump a guy/girl and find a new one we like better just because.
it may be more rare nowadays, but there is still true love. there are still people who will be in love with each other no matter what.

Yeah I do as a matter of fact. Judging by the state my ex is in, he can't live without me :\

I think it exists, but the value of a relationship on average has fallen due to the lessening of human value and caring, and the increased popularity in money and success. I think its an evolution in our society and a way of coping in a world that cares less and less about the individual and more about the big guns.

My boyfriend and I go through rough patches but at no point do we ever stop loving each other - so it definatly still exists. For all those who prefer to go it alone or prefer a more casual no-emotional-strings-attached relationship, there are still some who experience love.

True love still exists in my heart.

He probally doesn't feel the same way, but I will always love my boyfriend Craig. When we do break up, I'll still love him. When I have a new boyfriend, I'll still love him.

I know I love my mom truly and deeply and I know she feels the same way. It's the relationship between me and my mother that convinces me of true love's existence.

Yeah I think there can be true love out there, depends on your own personal definition of it. Maybe it's not meant to last forever. If I had a gf I'm certain she'll get bored of me really quickly.

I think those phrases are not true, because when there is true love you don't need to say those things. Get bored of your partner? Well, duh, if it's not true love. If it is however, then it won't happen (... easily).

love still exsists, even tho it has been dying. i voted 4 choice number 2, but now that i really think about, choice number 1 is true 2...

I think it is still around but is hard to find. With so many people breaking up over the stupidest little things.

They are true, you just need to feel it to know it. I never thought they were true before I met my boyfriend...thought it was a load of bull to tell you the truth. But now I feel that when I'm not with him, that I can't wait to see him. We are a well matched couple and I really don't think you can get bored of someone you love. Theres the mind telling you that your bored...telling you that maybe the grass is greener on the other side, but you can feel whether you love someone or not. Look at the love between family members: If you love them, you may not always feel it, but if you lost them you would know and you would care. If I gave up my boyfriend just because some thought told me to, I would regret it later...thats why I know I love him.

    My god...cheeeeeeesy!!!!

well for teenagers its not true, unless if you knew that person for a really long time. Like I'm in love with one of my friends that I knew for 6 years now but he has a GF which sucks and supposely there in love, they show it everywhere and thats not love thats puppy love theres a difference

Love is Natures Way into tricking people into reproducing

I'm a firm beliver in true love. I know it exists. I know it exists because there are couples and the there are couples. The latter (in bold) being the couples who las for a really long time. True love isnt hard to find If you ask me. It's all around us. You see it in the couples that have lasted longer than 6 months. When you're alone and you see true love in action you cant help but feel a bit jealous.
Heh. I'm assured of it's existance to this day because no matter I'll always love my GF.
She loves me too. Her love for me is so unconditional that it even surprises me at times.

Therefore, there is no argument that anyone could present that could change my opinion on this matter.

Love is dying. It might be around another two or three years, tops, but there's not enough innovation and exclusive releases to keep it alive. The Xbox 360 simply has a bigger audience.

    I believe in true love..kinda.

I wouldn't die if someone I loved left me, because I've never obsessed over anyone like that before, but true love changes constantly. If your relationship really is true, then you probably wouldn't be getting sick of your partner =/

I haven't found it yet..and I'm not really so interested in looking now either. I'm a lazy ass mofo, so I'll probably just wait aimlessly until someone else finds me xD
