I think the only reason they buy cat ears is because they sell it at Hot Topic. Otaku wannabees will buy anything at hot topic XD

Well, Hot Topic is the root of all evil in contemporary pop culture, after all. xD

Inuyasha, Naruto, Fruits Basket, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist... I sincerely doubt that the majority of the people who buy the related merchandise know even the slightest bit about the associated anime/manga. Sad but true, I suppose...

Well, by whacking us for trying to add a bit of Japanese element is certainly showing some prejudice. It's not the matter that we're trying to be Japanese ourselves; it's just some of the stuff associated with their culture that appeals to us naturally.

I just think it's annoying that kids who watch 2 episodes of Inuyasha and love it and buy all the merchandise and stuff do "fit it" think they're cooler than someone who's seen every episode of Inuyasha that doesn't buy all those and gear and stuff. ^.^;;

I've seen a ton of animes, whole seasons to. But I don't pronounce it in the streets. I keep my geeky side to myself XDD
